Urumqi Saybag District Hotels

This time I had a very good experience staying at Yaxin International Hotel. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and the check-in was very fast. They gave my children Xinjiang souvenirs. The room was prepared with welcome fruit plates and drinks. The details were very thoughtful. I want to point out that the hotel also made its own special cards, and the blessings were all handwritten, which was very heartwarming. The hotel has its own parking lot, and parking is also very convenient. In short, this hotel is very good.

Stayed here for the second time on the last night of my trip before flying back to Beijing. See my review from the first time, the week before - also posted below. Good location - it's in a mall so plenty of food.and shopping options. Lots of great restaurants in the surrounding streets. Short taxi ride to the main attractions and airport/stations. Staff friendly and helpful - from the reception desk to the cleaners. Room modern and comfortable. Air con worked well - not all Chinese hotelsmhave these switched on in Spring but this one did. Breakfast was good and had a wide range of mostly Chinese options. Overall, a great hotel and I would book this as first choice if I came back to Urumqi.

Advantages: very new, large rooms with good facilities, very user-friendly design, good laundry room and gym. From the afternoon check-in to the evening, I felt it deserved a 5-star rating. Disadvantages: 1. The shower water is not hot. It is cold to the touch. It is impossible to take a shower. I went out in the afternoon and returned in the evening. There was still no improvement. Both rooms I booked had this problem. The water temperature was at most 30 degrees. 2. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the bathroom. Upon careful inspection, I found that there was a lot of cigarette ash in the trash can next to the toilet and in the cracks between the walls that had not been cleaned up at all. 3. The breakfast service was not up to par. After 8 o'clock, many plates and milk jugs were empty and no food was replenished. Many guests had finished their meals and left the tables, but the waiters did not clean up in time.

The hotel is quite satisfactory and meets the standards of the old five-star hotel. The hygiene and breakfast are all good, and the bedding is comfortable. As long as you don't require a modern style, you won't step into the pit. The little beauty at the front desk is also very good. We arrived late, and there were no adjacent rooms for two rooms. Seeing that we had elderly people who needed care, she actively helped us coordinate adjacent rooms. Thank you very much. I forgot to ask your name, I'm really sorry. Finally, let's talk about the shortcomings. I don't know why the door of the hotel lobby was not allowed to go up. It rained heavily in Urumqi on the day of arrival. After parking, I walked to the lobby in the rain. It was too embarrassing. The key is that there are elderly people. It's unacceptable to get wet in the rain. I also reported this to the front desk lady on the same day and got a timely response. Early the next morning, the front desk handled the extension of stay. The lady said that the lobby manager happened to be there. After reacting, I talked to the lobby manager, but I was very disappointed. This fat male lobby manager was extremely arrogant and rude. He looked down on people and didn't care at all. In the end, I guess he was helpless and said thank you with his back teeth. Sure enough, the iron block blocking the road was not removed until check-out. Finally, the concierge of this hotel is useless. It rained on the first day and the car could not go up. They would have given me an umbrella. On the second day, I needed to move something from the car to the room and needed the concierge's cart. There was no one in the concierge department. I asked the front desk and was told that they were not working and would have to wait for ten minutes. I said I didn't need help and just needed to get off the car. They told me that I could push it myself. I pushed the cart to move things. When I came back, the concierge had already started working. I pushed a big cart by myself, and the concierge just watched. It would have been fine if they didn't help push it, but they didn't even help open the door. Finally, to sum up, the five-star facilities are put up by a makeshift team.

Staff attitude ranges from good to rude and very bad. Hotel is so very eager to get rid of dwellers, even though its more than 1 hour from check out time. Housekeeper kept knocking and asking who’s inside even though I had replied I’m inside. Even tried to open the door. Luckily, I latched it. After, I came out of the toilet to open the door, she asked whether I just checked in.   I told her I had extended another day and showed her my booking. She said she couldn’t read. No apologies. Even the male reception staff, when asking him questions, he didn’t even bother to answer or look at me, as if I am invisible. Was deceived into thinking there’s a glass partition, separating the bowl and shower area. After washing all my-clothes  found out there’s no drier and outdoor space to dry clothes. So I could not cancel my booking. Pro is location near railway station.

This accommodation experience was great! As soon as I entered the room, I was amazed by its cleanliness and tidiness. The floor was shiny, the bed was flat, and the bathroom had no odor. Every detail was carefully considered. The hotel service was even better, from the warm reception at the front desk to the staff who helped with the luggage. It was very heartwarming. If there was any need, the response was super fast, and it really made the guests feel at home. I will choose this hotel again next time. The breakfast is also very rich and the location is also very good.

Staff was good helpful location is near the railway station 1000 metres near to the the Muslim street Ali Shan street near to the big mall convenient store is just down stairs. Airport is 7km One issue WiFi connectivity problem even Staff tried it but never worked.

Facilities: The facilities are super super new. From the inside to the outside, it may be a newly built hotel, but it meets Wanda's standards. There is no problem and the details are excellent. Hygiene: As a Wanda hotel, there is no need to worry about the health of the lobby, the lounge, the front desk to the room are very clean, the hygiene standard is definitely reached. Environment: The environment is very in line with the standards of five-star hotels. Xiangzhang to workmanship to Mei Chen are super in line with the high environmental standards. Service: The front desk lady upgraded the room super super intimate service has not to say as always.

The service provided by Miss Xueshan is very good and enthusiastic. The hotel environment is very good. The lobby on the 18th floor has a nice view from the floor-to-ceiling windows. The rooms are large and the hygiene is very good. There is also a laundry room and a gym. The breakfast on the 19th floor is rich in variety and delicious. It is a good experience.
