Anytime a hotel is within walking distance of a Metro it's a great location. Surrounding the vicinity is littered with small eateries and roadside fruit sellers. The hotel breakfast was great - perhaps cater for foreign tourists now that the Visa free has been extended till Dec 2025. . Tour brochures should be made available for ease of booking for a day tour. The entrance is rather inconspicuous so a signage directing taxi service to the establishment should be looked into. The front desk staff are superb.

I wanted to visit Urumqi International Bazzar and this is not the closest hotel. Afraid of booking on a Chinese app and denied of stay to foreigners, I find this hotel on trip.xom which is in close proximity (about 1 kilometer away).
My room was nice and very acceptable. I checked in close to midnight and left at 9 o'clock so I didn't get to see the hotel services and amenities. From my 1st impression, this hotel makes the cut to be a good choice for anyone who wants to stay in Urumqi.

The old room furnishing need urgent make over. The room ceiling we stayed had water or fungus mark made us felt the room is unclean. However, quite clean, good location and value for money, reasonably suitable for budget conscious traveller.

Aside from its central location, everything else in this Inn is a bit rundown. The breakfast room is so small and crowded that it was quite an unpleasant way to start the day! The amenities in the room are both cheap and out of date:, i.e. providing paper cups for tea and brushing teeth in the bathroom.

Excellent location with food, shopping and fruit stalls nearby. Metro is 10 mins walk away. Wifi requires a Chinese phone number to work. The bed and shower were good.

In general it‘s a nice place. Good location. Everything worked quite easily even though I arrived late at night. Translator app is needed for communication though. smoking inside the hotel is allowed and you can smell it sometimes on the hallway, my room smelled fine though :)
