Urumqi Hotels with Gym

The lady service manager in the hall is disappointing and unfriendly. My friend was served by a bell boy and tried on handicraft handbags while she was away. She suddenly appeared and scolded the bell boy for letting my friend touch and try the bags right infront of the two of us.

The hotel is located in the center of Urumqi. The hotel lobby is spacious. The front desk check-in was very quick. They upgraded my room for free. When I checked out, Susan was very welcoming. I will choose Hilton Urumqi next time I travel.

The pros: it’s attached to a high end mall it has a top of the line automatic bidet as it’s part of Marriott group, interior of room is reminiscent of its sister brand, the EDITION has a beautiful executive lounge Service and lift arrival is always prompt Bellboys and L1 aunties are helpful, earnest and friendly Byredo toiletries The cons: Poor awareness by local drivers resulting in many drivers, dropping off the wrong entrance Signages of the hotel can be vastly improved, as it’s not immediately clear that reception is at L37, and that there’s even a L1 lobby Room was stuffy even as I tried to lower the thermostat to 18 celcius, I was still perspiring in my room and the middle of the night One of my wash sinks was clogged The pillows are not exactly comfy and I didn’t know there was a pillow menu until the day of checking out, even as I stayed in other Conrads of the world Most of the staff who are in their twenties and thirties, have major rbf until you actually speak to them where they appear to be more pleasant and accommodating

During the Chinese New Year, I took my children to travel and ski. I stayed here. The staff here were very enthusiastic. It made us feel warm. The service was really great! I especially want to praise Liang Bo, Nur and Huang Shibo, who are very serious and responsible! The room is also very clean and well maintained. It is not far from the Grand Bazaar, and it is convenient to call a taxi!

The receptionist was really kind, he gave us a late checkout, knowing that we had a late flight that evening. The room size and amenities in the room were great, and the location was pretty central as well. Too bad we didn't get to use the hotel pool. It looks really good and the staff were very friendly, happy to show us around. I won't hesitate to stay there again.

The hotel is quite satisfactory and meets the standards of the old five-star hotel. The hygiene and breakfast are all good, and the bedding is comfortable. Finally, let's talk about the shortcomings. I don't know why the door of the hotel lobby was not allowed to go up. It rained heavily in Urumqi on the day of arrival. After parking, I walked to the lobby in the rain. It was too embarrassing. The key is that there are elderly people. It's unacceptable to get wet in the rain. I also reported this to the front desk lady on the same day and got a timely response. Early the next morning, the front desk handled the extension of stay. The lady said that the lobby manager happened to be there. After reacting, I talked to the lobby manager, but I was very disappointed. This fat male lobby manager was extremely arrogant and rude. He looked down on people and didn't care at all. In the end, I guess he was helpless and said thank you with his back teeth. Sure enough, the iron block blocking the road was not removed until check-out. Finally, the concierge of this hotel is useless. It rained on the first day and the car could not go up. They would have given me an umbrella. On the second day, I needed to move something from the car to the room and needed the concierge's cart. There was no one in the concierge department. I asked the front desk and was told that they were not working and would have to wait for ten minutes. I said I didn't need help and just needed to get off the car. They told me that I could push it myself. I pushed the cart to move things. When I came back, the concierge had already started working. I pushed a big cart by myself, and the concierge just watched. It would have been fine if they didn't help push it, but they didn't even help open the door. Finally, to sum up, the five-star facilities are put up by a makeshift team.

The hotel has first-class facilities, spacious and bright rooms, comfortable bedding, and an excellent stay experience. The staff is warm and thoughtful, and meticulous, especially Betty at the front desk makes people feel at home. Located in the city center, with convenient transportation, and complete shopping, dining, and entertainment facilities around, it is very convenient to travel. The restaurant in the hotel offers a variety of food choices, a rich breakfast, a combination of Chinese and Western food, and the taste is satisfactory. The hotel is modern and atmospheric in design, the lobby and public areas are full of art, and the overall atmosphere is elegant and warm. The gym, swimming pool, and facilities are all available. The hotel is clean and tidy as a whole, and the rooms and public areas are kept very clean, with details in place. The high-rise rooms have a wide view, which is refreshing. Compared with hotels of the same level, the price is reasonable, the service and facilities exceed expectations, and it is worth the money.

2nd time staying at this very nice hotel with the most friendly and helpful service. Great location right besides the subway station, with plenty of restaurants and even a top supermarket in the shopping centre opposite. We were upgraded to a very large room, which was nice and everything worked perfect, as before. Breakfast buffet with a large choice was ideal for starting the day. Next time in Urumqi we will definitely book this Atour again.

Overall the check-in process was smooth and efficient including the tedious task of having to show health QR codes, having pictures taken of passport with China residence visa side by side with phone showing health code, then making copies of visa page, passport page, last China entry stamp page, etc etc. In spite of the time this whole process takes the staff knew what they were supposed to do and went about the process as quickly as possible. A small welcome gift was an unexpected surprise. Special word of thanks to Ms.爱森那赫 at the reception (not sure if this is her actual name). She was the only one who spoke English and was guiding her colleagues to check us in smoothly. She also gave us a good recommendation to try local cuisine for dinner at a restaurant which was a 5 min walk from the hotel. The only confusing bit is the fact that hotel reception is located on the 3rd floor. Our Didi drivers did not know how to get us there as the drive up to the 3rd floor was through a parking lot next to the hotel. The hotel should either post clear instructions on a sign board for taxi/Didi drivers to follow or they should have someone posted at the entrance to guide vehicular traffic up through the parking lot to the lobby for check in. But all in all a pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to stay here again should we plan another trip to the city.

This meticulous service reflects the hotel's unremitting pursuit of quality and service. When I stepped into the room, I was greeted by a clean and new space. Every layout was in order, showing an elegant taste. All kinds of facilities are available, from daily necessities to bedding and sanitary ware, all of which reflect the hotel's thoughtful consideration. In particular, the configuration of humidifiers and air purifiers is to protect our health. The hotel room is specially equipped with a high-end Lefen hair dryer, which is quick-drying and quiet. The towels are made of high-quality materials, with a delicate and smooth touch, as light as clouds. The mattress uses the well-known brand ”King Koil” to create a comfortable sleeping environment for us. The front desk lady has a sweet smile, thoughtful service, and warm words. She asked about my preferences and arranged the room I like. In addition, the hotel room price is affordable, parking is free, and I am very satisfied with the stay! The hotel also provides gym and swimming pool leisure facilities, so that we can fully relax and exercise in addition to the busy schedule, and the gym staff are warm and friendly, and the service is very thoughtful and meticulous. In general, this hotel has performed very well in terms of service, facilities, location, etc., which makes me feel the comfort of home.
