Conrad Hotels in Urumqi

This was an excellent hotel with superb services. The staff, in particular was very helpful in arranging drives to various interesting sites. The lady called Sophia spoke excellent English which made life easy for foreigners. The only thing I would recommend is that they make an effort to clean the carpets more thoroughly.

I was recommended by a friend and came here for the first time today. It was just as described by my friend, very good! The ethnic girl at the front desk 👧🏻 is very patient❤️, and her smiling service makes people feel comfortable. My friend's phone was out of battery, so she quickly helped to get a charger to charge it. We needed disposable chopsticks🥢, so the little girl gave us her own takeaway chopsticks. The security guard was also very friendly, lifting the barrier in time and directing parking🅿️. There were fruit plates and yogurt in the room which was very thoughtful. Come here again next time!

It was great to stay in this hotel when I came to Urumqi for business. The service attitude of the front desk was very good. When I was resting in the lobby bar, the waiter also enthusiastically poured me a cup of free black tea. It really felt like home. The room was large and super clean. It was very comfortable to stay. The hotel has a parking lot and gave us free parking. It was great [强][强]

It's Hilton and I hardly found staff who can speak English. I felt like I was cheated. I paid for 2 big twin bedroom and I got one big and one regular roomsize. As i wanted spacious room, I was willing to pay more, but the duty manager at the time that I checked in said the other room seemed small, because it's a different floor plan. So I told them that I'm an interior designer, so I know what is big and small or even the manager could come and inspect the rooms with me. . After that they allow me to change the room. There're varieties of food for breakfast.

This is the happiest hotel I have ever stayed in. From the moment I entered the door, the lovely little beauty Kaili at the front desk (I quietly asked others to find out her name 😂), her healing smile helped me check in quickly, and someone helped me with my luggage. When I got to the room, I was really amazed. I have stayed in hotels so many times, but this is the first time I have encountered such a thing. The bed was just like a painting. I didn't even dare to sit on it 😂. I was still intoxicated when the phone rang. It was the front desk asking me if I was satisfied with the room after checking in and if I needed any help. Finally, she reminded me that the hotel has a self-service laundry room and they could take me there at any time if I needed it. They also left their phone number... I am really satisfied with this service. I am so excited that I finished writing this, but I always feel that the praise is not enough 😅. In short, I will choose to stay here next time 👍

Cleanliness and location are great, as well as the price. But where this hotel lacks is service. There was a MAJOR hiccup in how front desk handled my situation. I came back at 4am after a night out and lost my room key. The front desk really struggled to find my room number. After about 5 minutes of searching, she found my room and handed me a new key. Except IT WAS THE WRONG ROOM. I walked into a room that had 2 complete strangers asleep in the room. They were startled and I closed the door immediately. Went back downstairs and had to ask the front desk for another key, which the lady searched for another 5 minutes before finally finding my room. Needless to say, this is BAD. You CANNOT give someone’s room key to a stranger. That is an absolute sin in the hospitality industry. I hope they will retrain their staff and learn from this review.

After parking, I walked to the lobby in the rain. It was too embarrassing. The key is that there are elderly people. It's unacceptable to get wet in the rain. I also reported this to the front desk lady on the same day and got a timely response. Early the next morning, the front desk handled the extension of stay. The lady said that the lobby manager happened to be there. After reacting, I talked to the lobby manager, but I was very disappointed. This fat male lobby manager was extremely arrogant and rude. He looked down on people and didn't care at all. In the end, I guess he was helpless and said thank you with his back teeth. Sure enough, the iron block blocking the road was not removed until check-out. Finally, the concierge of this hotel is useless. It rained on the first day and the car could not go up. They would have given me an umbrella. On the second day, I needed to move something from the car to the room and needed the concierge's cart. There was no one in the concierge department. I asked the front desk and was told that they were not working and would have to wait for ten minutes. I said I didn't need help and just needed to get off the car. They told me that I could push it myself. I pushed the cart to move things. When I came back, the concierge had already started working. I pushed a big cart by myself, and the concierge just watched. It would have been fine if they didn't help push it, but they didn't even help open the door. Finally, to sum up, the five-star facilities are put up by a makeshift team.

The service provided by the front desk guys and girls was very good. Seeing that we had elderly people and children, they upgraded us to a family suite for free. Although it opened in 2011, the layout of the room is quite new. It is clean and tidy, and the room is large. The only drawback is that the breakfast is very average. However, the price is only 48.

I did a lot of guides with my friends. The hotel's room sanitation service is very good, and the equipment and facilities are also very good. There are snacks in the room, which are specialties of Xinjiang. Thanks to Wan Li at the front desk for her enthusiastic service, and she also recommended a nearby shopping mall for breakfast. There are also a lot of varieties, especially the variety of noodles in the morning and desserts.
