Atour Hotels in Urumqi

2nd time staying at this very nice hotel with the most friendly and helpful service. Great location right besides the subway station, with plenty of restaurants and even a top supermarket in the shopping centre opposite. We were upgraded to a very large room, which was nice and everything worked perfect, as before. Breakfast buffet with a large choice was ideal for starting the day. Next time in Urumqi we will definitely book this Atour again.

Great hotel- central to everything! We got a room that overlooked the main roundabout and it was great to watch the evening sunset over the city. Even though we overlooked the main street, you could hear no sound. A fantastic location to walk to the grand bazaar and People’s Park. People’s Park was amazing- do visit it in the evening as it’s lively and full of things to do. The hotel staff was super helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a pleasant stay. They young man at the counter even helped put us in touch with a driver when our initial plans for getting to Heavenly Lake fell through- he helped find a tour agent, driver, and helped to make sure everything was sorted for our day. Would stay here again.

The hotel is large, parking is convenient, the breakfast is rich, the air conditioner blows out quickly, the service from Xibai at the hotel front desk is very good, and the room is clean. The check-in experience is very good, the decoration is new, there is no smell, it is quiet at night, which helps to sleep.

First of all, let me talk about the experience during check-in. It was very poor. Three of us arrived with six suitcases, two strollers, and other bags. No one helped us unload our luggage or help me. I asked at the front desk if I could help deliver my luggage, and I was told that I was very busy and had no time. The front desk was obviously not experienced at it, and the whole process was very slow. I held the baby in my arms and waited for a long time. After finally getting the room card, I had nowhere to start when I saw so many luggages. , I had to ask if the luggage trolley could be lent to us, and we would push it ourselves. I was told again to wait until they were done. So I had no choice but to go to the back and find a cart pushing luggage, and load the luggage myself... At this time, I asked if I could help push it up, but I didn't want to... After arriving in the room, I felt that it had not been opened for long, and there were still decoration materials on the floor. No one had cleaned them after such a long time... (Picture 4). There was no refrigerator in the room, and there were empty cabinets... The sheets and quilts were not clean... Our next day When I woke up in the morning, the baby and I both had some allergies...I immediately asked someone to change the sheets and quilt covers, because it was really troublesome to change hotels with a baby with so much luggage~ When I was cleaning the sink, a grape slipped out of the stopper. The porridge arrived late at night, and there was nothing to eat. There were tomatoes and hair for breakfast... Except for the lady who changed the sheets in the guest room, I was really not satisfied.

The hotel staff are enthusiastic and attentive. They actively help with luggage and see you off when leaving the hotel. They are very humane. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable, with advanced and complete facilities. There is night porridge, and the breakfast is rich and delicious. The location is very close to the high-speed rail station. It takes about 10 minutes to walk. The only drawback is that because it is newly opened, the decoration smells heavy (even though there is activated carbon). It is recommended to open the windows in advance for ventilation after seeing guests booking a room.

Atour has lived in so many cities, and this experience was the worst. There is no soundproofing, and it was so noisy outside all night that I couldn't rest at all. The executive king room was specially chosen for comfort and I didn’t want to be noisy all night. I woke up at nine o'clock in the morning and wanted to take a shower, but I didn't find the bath towel (later found it was above the toilet). I called the front desk and they told me that it would be delivered immediately. However, I didn't see the waiter deliver it until I checked out at twelve o'clock. I decisively moved to the Crystal Orange Hotel next door, but I was informed that Atour had not logged out of my public security system. It can't be recorded here. I really do. . .

Clean. The floor heating is too hot. The hygiene is very good. The waitress is very enthusiastic. I asked her to bring a lot of water at a time. The front desk downstairs is also very nice. Very warm. I will stay again next time.

Meals: There is porridge for dinner, breakfast is particularly rich, you can eat a variety of food. Improvement suggestions: One thing is that Ctrip's platform may not communicate with Atour. The interface shows that breakfast is delivered but the hotel does not show it. As a result, the front desk sister also asked if she needed to add breakfast, but after explanation, the front desk sister still patiently solved the problem! In short, this stay is very comfortable!
