Stayed here as part of the Inca Trail trek. Our room was right above the trains that made a really loud noise all day until late at night. The fumes of the train were coming into our room. It was like the train was IN the room. We asked for a different room but they could only offer us a room in the basement with no windows that smelled like mold. We went out to buy some earplugs but couldn't find them. After reaching out to our trekking guide that we couldn't sleep this way, they could offer us a better room all of sudden: higher up and with double glazed windows: so a lot quieter. Until the next morning. They started inhouse construction at 7.30 am. Drilling, hammering... So no, I would not recommend this place of you're looking for a good night of rest after your trek. (The trains are closer to the hotel now because of a mudslide that happened two months ago. They had to reroute the train station.)

Wir hatten als 3 köpfige Familie 4 wundervolle Tage . Das Hotel liegt als Ausgangslage perfekt , wir waren selber mit dem Auto unterwegs und konnten so alle Sehenswürdigkeiten super erkunden . Dank des super freundlichen Personals, ins besonderen Jorge der perfekt englisch spricht und sehr sympathisch und zu vorkommend war . Bekamen wir alle Informationen und Tips die wir brauchten . The hotel is located in the middle of the station and the square , the room is clean , the shower is hot , breakfast is abundantly sweet and salty . Comfortable and warm bed . The lady that welcomed us is discreet is very nice . Recommended for those who stop Olantaytambo

What an amazing find in Ollantaytambo! Located down a quiet cobblestone lane less than a 10 minute walk to the ruins, plaza, restaurants and shops. Breakfast was simple but plenty of food for us to start the day with. Jorge is the best host! He treated us as long time friends and was just the friendliest ever and had many recommendations for us. We stayed 2 nights that were split by our Inca trail hike. We were able to just leave our bags in our room and let ourselves back in when we returned. Super easy! He was very flexible again with our checkout as we were doing the Pacamancha lunch nearby and needed our bags stored so we could explore the ruins that morning. We loved the quaintness of Parwa, I would describe it more like a bed and breakfast, and would definitely recommend staying here!

Excellent value for money at this basic but very accomodating hotel. Very friendly staff and the location is right on the river so we enjoyed a great view from our room. Breakfast was very good. It’s an older building so don’t expect luxury but if you want comfort, location and price- this is a good option. Bathroom was not amazing but fine for us.
