Spark by Hilton Mechanicsburg

It was very noisy to get any sleep until 1am due to kids running up hallway and people talking and laughing in hall. The shower was very poor when I went to turn it on it was like handle was gonna fall off and had very little pressure and very little hot water. Air conditioner was very load and banging when it came on. Don’t think I’ll be staying at the hotel again

The room darkening curtains were improperly hung and so they weren't effective. The shower never got warm enough to even create steam in a cool room. The room was not completely furnished so the only mirror is in the bathroom. Front desk staff worked hard to make a proper welcome, but their inexperience with the hotel computer system was apparent.

The ac was very dirty there was no microwave in the room, the bathroom was not well clean and the door handle fell off leaving us locked in the room for a while. The breakfast was very limited. The staff were very friendly and helpful

Renovations are underway, and there was construction materials lying around in multiple locations. Open utility doors, wooden crates in the middle of the lobby, etc. My room was clean, but details were left undone; such as a phone that wasn't plugged into the wall, (and it didn't work when I did plug it in) and a clock on the night stand that was unplugged. Though I was given a wifi code at check-in, the wifi was not working. I texted the front desk and was told that I'd have come down to the lobby to use the wifi. Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, all but one of the staff I met at the front desk was dressed very unprofessionally. (Inside out t-shirt, pink hoodie) They could have said when I first checked in; "We're sorry about the construction materials, we're under renovation." Those words were never said. When I checked out, the gentleman at the desk didn't even ask "how was your stay"? He somewhat reluctantly printed me a receipt and went on doing something else, barely acknowledging my existence as I exited the hotel. I have a conference every year in this town, I won't come to Wingate again.

The hotel was under remodeling so the pool was closed. The hotel room was very nice The front desk young man was very polite

Property was remodeling the building so certain amenities were not available. Near the highway, so traffic noise was heard the whole night. Breakfast was below average as far as selection.
