Hotel Granmirage

ビジホ代わりに２回目の利用。展望大浴場（スパ）が最高です。日本海が眺められる露天風呂とおしゃれなサウナがあります。部屋も小綺麗ですよ。

お風呂だけの一般がおられるため大浴場がいつも混雑いている。建物は古さはあるがまあ許せる。リピートはしないかな。

A solo trip to visit a sushi restaurant in Uozu and an izakaya in Toyama. It is a 5-minute walk across the main street from Uozu's downtown and dining district, next to the city hall. The building also serves as Uozu City's guesthouse, so it is in the realm of a city hotel. The public and room spaces are spacious. The bathrooms in the rooms are clean, except for signs of aging. The view is good on the ocean side, on the 6th floor. Breakfast is on the 1st floor, and is a buffet that day, and it was comfortable and not crowded. The rice is delicious, as expected. Now, the large public bath on the top floor has been renovated, and is a sleeping space for eels that makes use of the hotel's structural features of the ocean and mountain sides. They promote the sauna, but it is small, so I wonder if I'll go out of my way to use it? However, I was impressed by how well this large public bath was built. Value for money was good.

I stayed here for 2 nights from May 13th. I tried to book another hotel but it was fully booked so I decided to stay here. About ¥27,000 for two people in a twin room. The room is a little bigger and has a good view, but that's the only good thing about it. The things I noticed are: 1) The air conditioning is central, so it only blows air, not cools it. It was hot and I woke up in the middle of the night, and when I opened the window, I was bitten by nine mosquitoes and was in agony. I borrowed some insecticide and woke up to kill the mosquitoes, but I can't go back to sleep...(@4:10am) 2), When I unplugged the bathtub and let the water run, the drain was slightly clogged and water ran out. The water did not drain properly and the whole bathroom was flooded with water. 3),Since the bathroom is old, the bathtub is cracked and falling apart. 4), There is a bar, but it is closed. 5), There is no safe in the room. 6), I can't charge my phone because there's no power source near my bed. I charge it on the table next to the TV, and of course I have to go there when the alarm goes off in the morning. There are many ups and downs, but this trip to see a friend was an unpleasant one because of this hotel. For a good price, this is not the case, and I definitely don't want to stay there again.
