Kintarou Onsen

Hot springs are the best! It made my swollen legs feel refreshed. I felt like it was slowly working on my body. The large public bath shared with the day-trip hot spring was dynamic with lots of large rocks. The room was comfortable and I slept well on the bed.

My wife and I stayed here for one night. We rented a car and when we arrived at the parking lot, a male staff member immediately greeted us, and we felt the high level of hospitality. However, after checking in, we were only guided to the escalator, so we had to carry our luggage to our room ourselves. Therefore, there was no guidance or explanation to our room (although it wasn't necessary!). The room was renovated, well-cleaned, and very comfortable. We were on the 6th floor, so we could see the ocean from the window. The twin bed in the Japanese-style room was made by Simmons, which was nice. The building was quite spacious, and coffee and apple juice were provided as part of the drink service. The hot spring is 100% natural spring water, a rare mixture of salt spring and sulfur spring. There is also a hot spring at Karna's House and a large mural bath. The source is neutral (pH 7.15) and contains sodium, calcium, chloride ions, sulfate ions, etc., and is a little cloudy. The sulfur scent is salty. For dinner, we had a multi-course meal using seafood such as white shrimp and firefly squid, and for breakfast we had a delicious buffet. It was a very relaxing trip!
