Plus points - the location is good and the rooms are a decent size with decent facilities Minus points - the staff friendliness was a bit hit and miss - some where great, some not so helpful. The room service was a bit patchy - one day no towels, another day tea and coffee not replenished. The parking was also not ideal - I booked this hotel because it had hotel parking. I arrived around 10pm and was told the car park was full and I'd have to find somewhere to park myself either on the road outside or search the internet for a car park close by! Not really what I wanted to hear having travelled for around 12 hours - fortunately there was one remaining space fairly close which was a relief. We were lucky for the remainder of our stay that we managed to get a space in the undeground car park. If you do get a space the car park is really good - well lit, modern and easy to park with good room for each parking space. Overall our stay was ok.

The hotel looks new. Designed in minimalist way, cutting down costs while serving the essentials. A hostel, effectively. Located over 15 minutes away by car from the city centre, the hotel offers free carpark to attract residents. Public transport is less reliable. Breakfast is cheap (€10.5), choice is understandably little. In short, it is quiet, clean and simple.

The counter is very friendly, the room is clean, the breakfast counter will ask what kind of coffee is needed, and the cleaning action is also very fast, but the cleaning staff did not find that the shower gel has been used up and has not been replaced.

In Graz for a customer meeting and stayed in Grand Hotel Wiesler Graz for 3 nights (Jan 18 to Jan 21). Truly enjoyed this stay, Five Star for sure. The facility was built in 1909 (guessed from its WiFi password), yet the interior is very modern. The staff was very friendly and responsive, and the breakfast was the best we ever had in Europe. The hotel is in a premium location, with Tram #1, 4,6,7 connecting to the train station,

It is considered to be a relatively large hotel in Europe, over-living hotels, small cities, hotels have their own parking lot, of course, you must check in at the front desk before you can find the entrance parking, other things are normal. Went early without breakfast.

My family and I have been on travel for two months and stayed in 20 hotels. The Mercure Graz City is near the top of the list of our favorite hotels for this trip. From the service at check in through our check out, it was perfect. Great location, nice rooms, good breakfast, and convenient parking made this a ”we need to return to this hotel” event. I want to especially commend and thank Stoyan Yoroanov and Lily Nagy, front office, for their attention to detail and responsiveness.

Friendly and polite staff, perfect breakfast! Parking availability , either the hotel's or across the street on public parking. Reasonable distance from city center aproximataly 15min walk. Clean and huge room, comfy and large bed! Need to say more?

This hotel wonderfully echoes Graz’s own character. Contemporary style mixed with a heritage architectural past. Like the dramatic modern paintings that adron white walls; chic sculptures decorating the courtyard, and the red bull influenced F1 artifacts in the lobby LOCATION: Lovely location in the fringes of old town, and easy access to all key points of interest DINE + DRINK: Cool lobby level cafe and bar. Didnt try their restaurant to comment on. ROOM: We stayed in 201, so this review is based on that; The room is more of a mini suite that is fit enough even for long term residence with a Kitchenette, Microwave and a reasonable big refrigerator compared to what you might find in a normal hotel room; VIEW:Sweet view of the streets ; SIZE: Very spacious room; AIR-CON: Perfectly functioning cooler that helped in setting the perfect room temperature; BED: Comfortable bed that played the expected part to put me to sleep; BATHROOM: Stand in shower; TOILETRIES: Nice spa quality cosmetics by HERBAL TREATS brand FACILITIES: Compact Gym with a basic range of weights and Cardio machines. Small but cool indoor swimming pool SERVICE: Friendly staff that took care of all our needs with a smile and made us feel at home and well taken care of. HOW WIRED YOU WILL BE: Free high-speed Wi-Fi that works well all over the property. Modern, bright clean and beautifully furnished double room with large balcony. Nice staff. Good greeting gin and tasty breakfast buffet. Nothing to challenge, please again.

The hotel was very modern and very urban, with clean interiors, hot colors, friendly staff. I arrived very early in the morning and they gave me a room without overpriced. A bar with a wide selection of gin from all countries where this hotel chain is present is located at the reception. My room was very busy, but the windows were very isolated and it was almost nothing to feel. Excellent quality-price ratio (I paid EUR 120). The only neo: the room was quite small.
