The most unexpected lakeside hotel in this trip to Europe~Very very recommended~First of all, the location is on the lakeside~There are four kinds of boats for free to play~The lake is clear~The ducks are floating in the water~I didn't encounter any Asian faces during this period~The room looks bigger than the description ~ Much better than the picture~ The balcony can see the lake~ A glass of red wine on the balcony in the evening is full of stars~ Cozy~ Many locals have dinner here~ There are boats to eat~ The whole fish ordered is salvaged in the lake that day~ Delicious~ The best thing is the little brother at the front desk ~ handsome and very friendly ~ take the initiative to take us to the room to introduce ~ recommended friends for self-driving trips

We have just had the most fantastic 7 nights at this charming hotel in St Wolfgang, just a few minutes walk from the lake. The whole Wolfgangsee area is beautiful, and this family run hotel is the perfect place to stay while you explore. Staff are so helpful, rooms are a lovely size and spotlessly clean! As for the breakfast….just incredible! So much choice and beautifully presented on lovely cake stands. I even had my own vegetarian platter! Swimming in the lake at the private beach area was perfect- especially in the mini heatwave the area was experiencing! Thank you family Furian, we loved our stay!

We lived here 2 weeks and feel very well. Little but beautiful and convenient 1-Zimmer-Appartement in the 1. OG with balcony and perfect sea view in a nice old villa, parking in the courtyard. The staircase is quite unusual, not appropriate and so doesn't suit the claim of the apartment. Kitchen and bathroom very small, but all there you need, including bed linen, towels and toilet paper. All right except on the floor, which could have been cleaner at our arrival (it was probably just sucked), under the bed was next to a lot of dust even waste from the predecessors! House is located on the congestive road towards the Schafbergbahn, always what happens and much to see who has a light sleep should take Ohropax. For this absolutely central and directly to the lake. The house is very quiet, you can't hear the neighbors. Small bathroom, bar and water sports rental as well as boat shuttle to the hotel directly opposite. The walking area and the ”centre” with restaurants etc are available in 2 minutes walk, just as the Rössl Hotel, where you can use the spa area, including towels and bath coats. Spint keys can be borrowed against caution for all the time. It is always very friendly and helpful staff at the hotel reception and in the spa area. Small spa area, not as large as in a clean wellness hotel but completely enough to rest on rain days or after walking. Beautiful sauna with sea view and a beautiful steam bath with a nice rest room. The advice on the correct use of the sauna would be useful because of the many international guests (previously shower, sitting on the towel, without shoes, etc.). Tea and apples are included, also treadboats at the lake. Beautiful sun terrace directly on the lake with beds inside and outside. We have always got a good place. All despite the many visitors clean and ordenly, partly somewhat used in the swimming pool area. We were just swimming in the lake and we could see that almost all bathroom guests went undouched in the hot outdoor pool and the whirlpool - showers are not easy to find below and there are no indications for use (which would be beneficial because of the large international guests - not few wear underwear under the bathroom ...). We have enjoyed buying the small packaging for the location and other benefits.

The White Horse Hotel on Lake Wolfgang is well-deserved and the hotel is almost an attraction. It is located in the heart of the town, next to the town’s church, the hotel’s swimming pool and Wolfgang Lake are close to each other and can be conveniently located at the lake. Swimming in the indoor and outdoor pools of the hotel. The hotel breakfast is not particularly rich, but the variety and taste are also quite satisfactory, but the dinner at the lake view restaurant is definitely worth a try, the taste is amazing, not the ordinary Michelin knife and fork. The only downside of the hotel is that the hot water temperature is not stable and it is easy to get cold and hot. After living, there is a question, how can this be just a four-star hotel?

To not evaluate in the emulation, I have left my time to write my impressions here today. It was already at the end of May 2023, when I and my family, we 4 together with our baby, that restaurant of the landhouse at Appesbach in St. Wolfgang at Wolgang Lake. A special experience, they believe me it was like in the 7th sky. In the Appesbach country house you are not only a guest, no, you are a friend and you feel just great and very welcome. The staff and here I would like to highlight Mr Thomas Peterseil and Mr Christopher Pinegger very specifically, in his friendliness and preference, there are only a few houses in Austria, who can enjoy such friendly staff. The food and wine recommendations of the two gentlemen were so perfect that we have just empty two bottles of which we recommended. The foods of Thomas Höfler and Lucas Mitter are looking for their same. Fresh, regionally wonderfully prepared and very lying on the table, the Gaumen's joy was no longer to stop. I can only say one, once Appesbach always Appesbach. I wish the management, let them lose these 4 Lords we have had to meet, they are just great and wonderful. Here is the guest emperor. I have stayed at the Golden Ship a few times now, and I have always enjoyed my time there. However, I was particularly looking forward to my visit in early September because I knew that the Hotel had undergone extensive improvements since I was last there, pre-Covid. It did not disappoint, as the place looks amazing now. All of the Staff that I had dealings with were super helpful, especially the lady in the breakfast room who was keen to ensure that I was well looked after, lovely soul (I’m sorry, I didn’t get her name). I didn’t partake of the Spa facilities nor Restaurant, so can’t comment on those, but the Breakfasts are legendary, with everything you could wish for. I also liked the lockers, where you can store your baggage if there’s time to kill between checking-out and leaving the area. There are also now 2 lifts which help with elevator congestion The proximity to the town centre and the Bus/Railway station, coupled with Austria’s efficient public transport network makes the Hotel Goldenes Schiff a fantastic choice for someone like myself who never hires a vehicle whilst overseas. Bad Ischl is a superb base for exploring the Salzkammergut region, and I wouldn’t hesitate to sort accommodation at this hotel when I’m next there.

The scenery service is good and there is nothing to say about the hotel. The balcony of the room has a view of the lake, and it is not too pleasant to have an afternoon tea. The view of the restaurant is even better, you can see the entire lake area. The only shortcoming is that it is relatively remote. It takes dozens of Euros to take a taxi from the train station. If you take a bus, you have to take a short walk to get to the mountain.

Small speaker broadcast station: It is no longer Sheraton! The luxury selection next to it is also being renovated, and it is estimated that the opening will also be delisted! The hotel has been renovated and is a lot newer than before! Breakfast is average, but foreign breakfast is almost the same!
