A truly wonderful place where each detail is taken care of with elegance. Excellent meals based on local products are a joy for the palate and for the eyes. The hotel Team are hospitable and kind. I strongly recommend holidays in Gasthof Zum Hirschen.

A lovely property in a lovely tiny community with a centuries old church in its front yard. The hotel building is a beautiful mix of Scandinavian design with boho mountain elements of plants, books, local artifacts, etc. The staff is delightful from check-in to check-out. The breakfast was a multi course meal served at the table smoothie, cereal, egg dish, waffles, coffee and dessert, in addition to self service of cheeses, meats breads, fruit, nuts, ets. I will come back to Gasthof.

The hotel staff were very welcoming, the room was clean and bed was very comfortable! We hired e-bikes and this was a fantastic experience - amazing 4 hour loop including peak, lakes and waterfall -wonderful experience, and was no fuss at all for the hotel staff very easy and uncomplicated to hire. Dinner and breakfast were exceptional!

We stayed here on a tour with Edible Destinations. We had so much fun with our group of nine travelers! I believe this is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed at! The staff was very nice and the location was beautiful. We loved the little town and our hikes in the area. The food was an expertly prepared, farm to table experience. We were there during dandelion season and learned of the many ways to serve them. I personally could have had less dandelions. Another tip for improvement would be to add a shelf or table in the shower as there was no place to set your razor or shampoo if you preferred to use your own instead of the pump provided. Overall though a great stay!!

It is difficult to describe in words the feeling that the holiday at Gasthof Zum Hirschen left in us. It was a week of peace, excellent food, familiarity and hospitality. The snowfall that welcomed us had its role as a spectacle, but the people did the rest. Mirko's advice and welcome, Ingrid's cuisine (even if talking about "cuisine" is an understatement...) and Edith's friendliness helped convince us that we will have to return. The torchlight processions and excursions organized by Mirko gave us the opportunity to get to know places and people in the small village in an atmosphere of joy and friendliness. We won't forget them. The new and tastefully furnished structure also made the breaks following the walks in the mountains pleasant.

The upper Val di Non was a real discovery, like this magnificent hotel, we discovered it in 2017 and since then we have always come every year to spend at least a week to recharge our biological batteries. The Kofler-Mocatti family manages the structure in an optimal manner, with every type of service, without being intrusive, with sincere friendliness. The hotel is located in an area with very little traffic, surrounded by woods and green meadows, with many routes to follow on foot or by bicycle (which can be rented in the hotel, even electric ones). The catering part, from breakfast to dinner, is a unique sensorial experience, with local raw materials and research, handed down through generations, on medicinal herbs, flowers and plants that grow in the area.
