It was absolutely beautiful. Excellent and friendly service. Property is beyond words beautiful with some wild animals in between! Loved it. Extra bonus was the concern and advice on WhatsApp with which roads were best according to our vehicle. That was a nice surprise. Thank You so much for a memorable stay and we will definitely be back and stay abit longer! Have a wonderfully blessed 2025!

Spacious, well equipped accommodation, complete with own hot tub ! Spectacular views, our lodge looked out onto the lake, with Drakensberg mountains as a backdrop. Evening meals were good, bought directly to our lodge. Breakfast in the boathouse was good, lots of choice of hot and cold food. We used the lodge as a base for a planned trip up the Sani Pass into Lesotho and conveniently our Tour operator picked us up at reception. The drive to the lodge is a farm track and can be rutted in places. We were perfectly ok driving our NON 4 x 4 Audi A4 car up and down it, albeit drove slowly !

Beautiful secluded lodges set around a lake with Mountain View's looking towards Sani Pass and Lesotho. Lots of zebra and bird life Staff very helpful ! Had dinner delivered to our lodge to eat on the decking - what could be better!

Exactly what we needed after the busy period before our wedding. Sani Valley Nature lodge has breathtaking views and the peace and quiet is what needed. We enjoyed the food and the portions were very generous. We loved our time at the lodge.

We staid for 4 nights in a sunset unit and enjoyed every minute. The place just radiates peace and relaxation. The area is large enough to have nice hikes within the boundaries. Also nice breakfast and very friendly staff. We will come again!

Sani Valley Lodges is the perfect place to stay if you’re looking to experience the Berg. The lodges are set in a beautiful and quiet reserve - which is conveniently just 10-15 minutes out of Himeville or Underberg respectively. We stayed in the Lakeside lodge - and it was spectacular. The views are incredible and the lodge is well equipped. If you do stay - make sure to opt for the catered option as the food provided is incredible. Fresh trout. Oxtail. Peppermint crisp tart - all great! Gareth and his staff are all attentive and helpful - and we never went without.

Escape the city with a great relaxing holiday. Really enjoyed our stay. Professional service and hospitality. The staff are discreet and welcoming. The animals and views were amazing. Excellent facilities and well managed.
