Unawatuna Hotels with Swimming Pools

One of the best hotel I have ever stayed,good staff and location as well as the room!!

Big beautiful resort at the beach! So friendly staff and many places to sit and relax. Good activities like: - Sunrise yoga with an amazing instructor - Water aerobics at the pool. Different types every day with positive and energized staff. The music at the pool/ beach area can be a little bit much sometimes. Almost every other guest is Russian.

Magnificent mini-hotel. One of the best on the island. Very friendly staff, small number of rooms. Although it's a la carte, the breakfast is very tasty and varied. Infinity pool with magnificent views. Nearby is one of the best beaches on the island without waves - Jungle beach. I highly recommend choosing this place. By the way, I advise anyone who gets a view of the garden not to be upset - the sea can also be seen from there. Overall, a wonderful boutique hotel.

I stayed with my husband and baby and we had an amazing stay..the room and view was spectacular..too bad it was just one night..staff was extremely friendly and always greeted us and had a welcoming atmosphere wich is very rare for locals.. The food was so good..we ordered a creamy chicken pasta with extra spicy and it was on point..the breakfast was delicious as well. Pool was just perfect for us and the baby.. Will definitely visit again..thank u to all the team from reception to all staff..

Firstly this probably merits 3.5 out of 5. The reason is I felt quite disappointed when we arrived, having booked directly with the hotel and asking for “Superior” rooms which bear no resemblance to the Superior ones shown on the well-known booking site. I initially thought we’d been given the wrong rooms and had to double check with reception . We had two rooms which at $96 per night were the most expensive of our trip. We don’t normally spend a lot on hotels so this was meant to be a treat at the end of a long tour. These rooms were pretty basic, smelt quite musty as they were built in to the rock face, had many steps to reach and the sofa in one room was torn. The mosquito net had several holes in it. I understand that Sri Lanka has had a rough time recently but to charge these kind of prices, especially in the low season is not really justifiable. The hotel really needs a good returb, and I noticed that the rooms below ours were being updated during our stay. Plus points were the staff - absolutely amazing, helpful and polite and the food which was delicious- try the fresh fish/seafood plates. Also it was really difficult to find! Put up a sign board! The hotel has some way to go before it can be accurately described as a “luxury boutique hotel”. Overpriced.

The hotel is younger, the decoration is not bad, the door object is a food city, but the hotel is not satisfied with a lot of places: the first is to make a mistake our order, the triple room becomes a double room, until 6:30 to give us A triple room; the second corridor is small, the elevator has a very unpleasant musty smell; the third sheet is dirty, the spots are stains, I have to send a picture to estimate that no one dares to go. There is no cup in the fourth room, no drinking water, no kettle, tap water is very salty, you must buy water yourself. But the service is not bad, but also some free card darts, etc. A small pool is small but beautiful. So there are advantages and disadvantages, please decide for yourself.

A super hotel with good facilities and a good location. The buffet breakfast is comparable to the standard of lunch and dinner. The hotel’s open-air saltwater swimming pool is clean and buoyant. It faces the sea and makes waves. It’s amazing. The family suite we stayed in, open the skylight, the sun shines in, it is too comfortable.

A great hotel for relaxation and relaxation in the heart of nature, sounds and fragrances. Always clean rooms and towels, pool, lieutenant, showers near the pool and the territory itself. Bathroom is cleaned, good plumbing. Very attentive, responsible and sensitive staff, waiters. The room is comfortable. Fresh and delicious food, seafood, juice. We can not say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive to details. We arrived at 3:00am and the hotel had prepared some fruit and sandwiches for our arrival. My wife is celiac and the staff did an amazing job ensuring there were food options available for her. They even prepared traditional Sri Lankan food for us to try. The beach club gets very busy during the day but we still felt like the only guests there. This place has a great island vibe with music and different entertainment daily. We will definitely be returning before the end of our trip.

The view is great and breathtaking during sunset. They keep the hotel premises and garden clean. But when entering to the hotel, we feel like its an isolated/neglected place. Path is broken and both sides covered with ugly trees and bushes. No one to look at until we park and go to the reception. People park the vehicles wherever they want blocking other vehicles (we had to wait nearly half an hour to move our vehicle because someone was blocking it).We got a deluxe room with pool access.The bathroom design is so stupid and uncomfortable design. Rooms are not nice as the photos they have posted in web. Room amenities are ok but furniture and design of the room looks cheap. There is a very small staff. They looked like some random people found for day pay. Restaurant has no proper AC. We were sweating while having meals. There was only one guy to serve us who is not even wearing a mask. Special thank should go to the Chef. He had arranged very tasty food for the limited budget(we heard how they discuss the meal budget and all. They were too noisy and disturbing). Meal quantity is really small. Took longer time to serve. However next day breakfast was a buffet which was better. Rooftop is flooded when raining. Such a beautiful view is wasted. Elevator is out of service and we have to climb 4 floor to the restaurant. (this was reported in other reviews posted long ago). Such a beautiful location is wasted due to mismanagement.
