"We liked this hotel very much. A spacious and clean room with partial ocean view (second line) is fully matched by the photos on the site. Everyday cleaning, water, tea and coffee is all provided for a comfortable rest.
Breakfasts are delicious, though not in the Swedish table format. Hotel location is just great! It is at the end of the Unavatuna beach, just 15 minutes walk from the main tourist street. In two minutes the only Alcomarquet, and in 20 minutes walk the turtle beach.
But the main beach right across the road! There is a cozy and quiet bay where the waves are broken down about the stones without reaching the shore. Unlike the main beach where the strong flow can carry, you can swim quietly and enjoy the soft remnants of the waves.
I would like to celebrate the staff smiling, kind and very pleasant people. Thank you for your warm reception!"

"Very good accommodation for the beach vacation in Unavatuna. Villa is located far from the noizy street in the living suburb, neibours are local people, so we heared no any party, just sounds of nature and tuk-tuks. All the key locations are not far from the place, wine store, friut store, small supermarcet, of course beaches, both Turtle and main can be reached by foots.
Garden is of proper care, there are some facilities there to spend evening on the air.
Public areas (hall, dinning-cooking rooms) are clean, there are big fridge, washing machine, gas owen, cookware, dishes, glasses, so you can Cook. Owner comes every evening to change trach bins and clean up halls.
Room is not big, but there are all the nesessary, bad wide enough, bed line clean and New, two big and two small towels. Air conditioner is New.

"My husband and I were vacationing along the coast of Sri Lanka and decided to stay at this villa. Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised by the excellent service. We arrived early and were checked in at no extra charge. The villa grounds are very clean. The grounds are well-maintained, there's a fish pond, and indoor parking. The room is clean and spacious. It has its own full kitchen. The hosts are very friendly. Since we're not new to Sri Lanka, we were very pleasantly surprised by this villa. The hotel is located on the second beach, but it's easy to find. We had a car, so getting around was easy. This was probably the best room we rented in Sri Lanka."

"The hotel is really small, a bit disappointing. I booked a two-night, two-bedroom apartment. I want to try to discuss with the manager whether I can only stay for one night. After a fruit, a uncle who wears a tattered vest, shorts, and unbridled is a manager, then speaks. It is also very rude, the attitude is too good, and the words are rude and can not directly say no. There are only 9 rooms, in the mountains, black and dark at night, our 4 women, do not dare to go out at night. There are two beaches near the hotel. It takes more than 15 minutes to walk, and we meet weekends. Many locals gather for dinner, drink, and we go to the beaches in the afternoon. All the way to the big local men, a little scared, go On the beach, I saw two European and American girls in swimsuits, and a group of men who drank alcohol, they left, and the hotel was in a good environment, the room was very comfortable, and the surrounding environment was really bad. Looking at the sea view on the mountain, but the geographical environment is really bad, travel dudu, only suitable for staying in the hotel all day~ Breakfast is an order, it is quite rich, the staff are male, except for the so-called manager, the attitude is very good. Will not stay again"

케케이트 운구랴누Wonderful and kind hosts! Thank you! The room is cozy, the bed is comfortable, and there's a huge outdoor shower, so to speak. It was great! The breakfasts are delicious and filling, the fruit is fresh, and the coffee is amazing! In the courtyard, you can see peacocks, monkeys, and lizards. Two cute cats and a dog also live in the house; they guard the house (she's very kind and affectionate). As for the distance to the ocean, it's about 15 minutes at a leisurely pace; you just walk in a straight line and reach the ocean (though you have to try to find the ocean access point because hotels and cafes don't let you just walk there; you have to buy something). Supermarkets are also a 15-minute walk away, but there aren't many in Unawatuna itself. The guesthouse area is quiet, cozy, and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. Overall, I recommend staying here if you enjoy walking (although tuk-tuks and taxis are also readily available).

One of the best on the island.
Very friendly staff, small number of rooms. Although it's a la carte, the breakfast is very tasty and varied. Infinity pool with magnificent views. Nearby is one of the best beaches on the island without waves - Jungle beach. I highly recommend choosing this place. By the way, I advise anyone who gets a view of the garden not to be upset - the sea can also be seen from there. Overall, a wonderful boutique hotel.

RRobin Lou MengFrom the moment we arrived, we were greeted by wonderfully friendly staff at the reception desk, and our positive impression continued when we saw our room. It was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean and a perfect space to relax in.
Unfortunately, our enthusiasm dipped when we looked out the window. We had eagerly anticipated the sea view we booked, but found ourselves on the first floor looking directly onto the main path to the restaurant. The lack of both a view and privacy was a real disappointment.
The challenges were compounded by a local festival taking place during our stay. This rendered the beach unusable due to the sheer volume of people. Worse, the road closures made leaving the hotel a logistical headache, leaving us feeling a bit trapped. A final frustration was discovering there were no shops nearby and no convenience store in the hotel itself, so be sure to pack everything you might need.
In summary, while we can't fault the hotel on its cleanliness or the friendliness of its staff, the experience was significantly hampered by the room mix-up and the festival chaos. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it was far from the relaxing getaway we had planned.

FFred ConcklinWonderful place with a lush garden in Unawatuna area in the main tourist road. They let us for an early checkin so we didn’t have to wait in the lobby area. Room was spacious with modern furniture and included a minibar. Air conditioner worked perfectly. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was spacious. Hot water worked perfectly. Modern fixtures too. Green villa was close to all the main attractions. Highly recommended for a calm, quiet, comfortable stay in Unawatuna area.

GGuest UserThe main asset of this place is the staff. Everything. What was not noted when booking was the lack of glass in the windows. They are closed with decorative wooden shutters, as the hotel is decorated in a traditional style. But opening these shutters means listening to all the sounds that you can already hear quite well, and in the evening mosquitoes will fly in. Some people won’t notice, but I was in a small room with no windows, and without daylight it wasn’t very good. The mattress was comfortable. The breakfasts are good. The hotel team is pulling out all the stops, but renovation of the rooms is already required))

GGuest UserWe can not say enough good things about our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive to details. We arrived at 3:00am and the hotel had prepared some fruit and sandwiches for our arrival. My wife is celiac and the staff did an amazing job ensuring there were food options available for her. They even prepared traditional Sri Lankan food for us to try. The beach club gets very busy during the day but we still felt like the only guests there. This place has a great island vibe with music and different entertainment daily. We will definitely be returning before the end of our trip.

GGUANZONGA super hotel with good facilities and a good location. The buffet breakfast is comparable to the standard of lunch and dinner. The hotel’s open-air saltwater swimming pool is clean and buoyant. It faces the sea and makes waves. It’s amazing. We booked a room at the Thaproban Beach House Hotel, when we came to check in, it turned out that our reservation at this place was missing, and we had a reservation at the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa. Thanks to the Trip.com team for helping us understand and resolve issues. And the Thaproban Pavilion Resort & Spa turned out to be much better than the Thaproban Beach House. True, it is not on the beach, but the beach is 5-7 minutes away. The hotel is super, all the amenities, large rooms overlooking the ocean. Very tasty breakfasts, 2 swimming pools on site, one with salt water. In general, I highly recommend the hotel. We really liked it. And we never regretted that we moved into it.
