It was great but a bit pricey. There isn’t much around the area as there’s in Weligama or Merissa but it was worth it for a last night of lazing out before flying out.

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by wonderfully friendly staff at the reception desk, and our positive impression continued when we saw our room. It was incredibly spacious and spotlessly clean and a perfect space to relax in.
Unfortunately, our enthusiasm dipped when we looked out the window. We had eagerly anticipated the sea view we booked, but found ourselves on the first floor looking directly onto the main path to the restaurant. The lack of both a view and privacy was a real disappointment.
The challenges were compounded by a local festival taking place during our stay. This rendered the beach unusable due to the sheer volume of people. Worse, the road closures made leaving the hotel a logistical headache, leaving us feeling a bit trapped. A final frustration was discovering there were no shops nearby and no convenience store in the hotel itself, so be sure to pack everything you might need.
In summary, while we can't fault the hotel on its cleanliness or the friendliness of its staff, the experience was significantly hampered by the room mix-up and the festival chaos. It wasn’t a bad stay, but it was far from the relaxing getaway we had planned.

1. The check-in time at the front desk of the hotel exceeds 40 minutes. It is the hotel with the lowest check-in efficiency in Lanka. It is suspected that white people who come later will check in first and have to go back and forth to ask for signed documents and be led to the room and back to the front desk. 2. Although the hotel is equipped with a dehumidifier, the hotel was the most humid among the 9 hotels we stayed in during this trip, and my friend who was traveling with me developed an acute eczema outbreak. The sheets that come with you are damp when you lie on them.

1. The room was damp and cold, with a musty smell and the sheets were very damp. Due to the humidity in the room, the room was very cold. It was like a cellar.
