Amazing hotel, wonderful views and very clean and very well decorated. The staff was super helpful and nice. The managers of the hotel were lovely and helped us a lot with anything that we needed, it's by far the best hotel that we've been to. Not to forget, breakfast was really good in the terrace in front of the sea and the swimming pool was very clean and very beautiful. Thanks a lot for such a good experience, watergate hotel!

The staff are the most beautiful souls!! So happy to help abd accommodate!!! We had the best breakfast only complaint we could not eat it all!!! I had the best tastiest dahl!!! My husband had beautiful full English!! So clean! Beautiful pool !

Came to spend 3 nights at this hotel and ended up spending 9 instead , as we simply fell in love with it. Stunning view -for sunset lovers, very quiet for light sleepers and what was very important for me,they have blackout curtains. Another thing which was amazing about this hotel, we never had any insects in the room, even tho bathroom window is more like a little fence than a window. It has uncovered gaps which made me worried knowing how reach is the fauna here. (See the picture attached ) But we didn’t have even mosquitoes!!!!!! Bathroom is broad and very good looking, room has a little fridge and very convenient lights switchers inbuilt into the nightstands. Stairs are always clean and plants are everywhere. Even in the bathroom. Hotel is far from the busy area, if you a pedestrian there are tuktuks available outside during the day time. Night time you will need to walk in the dark a little bit. If you rent a bike , there is plenty of space just next to the reception and night time security will keep an eye on it. Staff and managers are very kind and friendly.

We were greeted very warmly, the staff is always happy to help with solving any problems. The hotel is clean, comfortable, located on the ocean. The balconies of all rooms overlook the ocean, gorgeous views, silence. A very worthy three. If we return, it will only be to this hotel.

Чисто, тихо, спокойно, отличный сервис, хорошая кухня. Что особенно понравилось- отель находится в 5 минутах ходьбы от тусовок пляжа Унаватуна, но в самом отеле очень тихо и спокойно. Рядом парочка таких же небольших отелей, и джунгли. Только шум волн и птичий щебет по утрам. Нет никаких насекомых и другой местной фауны. В номере холодильник, чайник, 2 бутылки воды каждый день, чай, кофе, сливки, сахар. Очень качественный косметический набор в ванной (шампунь, бальзам, гель для душа), есть фен. Персонал не докучает своим присутствием, но всегда оказывается в поле доступности. На завтрак в основном всегда был шведский стол, можно было выбрать по вкусу, на ужин- заказное меню, очень вкусный рис по шри-ланкийски (ужин заказывали на рецепшене после обеда). Еще из плюсов: На Унаватуне есть бесплатные лежаки от отеля на пляже Happy Banana, но туда идти минут 10. Из минусов- кондиционер в номере дует на кровать, пришлось немного занавесить. Но я его включала только вечером чтобы охладить комнату, а ночью свежий морской бриз в окна. И да, для того чтобы убрали в номере- необходимо на рецепшене оставить ключи и предупредить об уборке. Кто не знает английский- желательно скачать программу перевода, практически никто из персонала не знает русский.

Отличный вид из номера ,отель и номера уставшие .Организация работы в столовой плохая,,нерасторопные официанты,очень шведский стол убогий,в ванной гель,шампунь и мыло ,фен принесли после запроса. Холодильник не работал ,заменили ,сейф работал через раз .Удобное расположение отеля.

Прекрасный отель, брал семейный номер, номер просто огромный, состоит из огромной спальни и рабочего кабинета. В ванной есть бритва, шампуни, гели, мыло, зубные щетки... все как в лучших отелях. В номере есть минибар, кофе, чай. В отеле очень вкусно готовят, рекомендую попробовать. Персонал просто отличный!!!! Спасибо ресепшену, официантам, уборщикам, всем кто сделал наше пребывание в отеле максимально комфортным!!!

Мы сейчас отдыхаем в этом отеле, отель очень хороший, персонал приветливый, (даже встают когда гости проходят! ), все вопросы решают сразу, все исправно в номерах, душ и туалеты новые, плесени нигде нет, холодильник, кондиционер, чайник, чай, кофе все в номере. Уборка по запросу, если не просишь убраться не лезут. Пляж близко, рестораны рядом с отелем лучше и дешевое, чем в центре. Очень рекомендуем ресторан Panduana, как выйдешь из отеля направо, немного пройти и справа двухэтажный маленький ресторан на ухоженной полянке. Очень вкусно и дешево! Обязательно вернемся в этот отель.
