Oberoi Hotels.... and the Ajman property ... truly lives up to its name with a consistently curated experience for its guests. Our recent stay was no exception. From check-in to check-out, everything was superb. The food was delicious, and the beach was pristine. The kids had a blast at the kids' club, and we thoroughly enjoyed the cocktails at the bar. Highly recommended!

We have recently returned from the most wonderful break at the Double tree Hilton Hotel in Marjhan Island, our second time in this relaxing environment. We had a night flight from Bham and landed about 8am in Dubai, we had the complimentary hotel transport from and to the airport and i had emailed ahead of time to ensure this was secured. At check in we had to wait a couple of hours for a room, but we new this from our previous visit so had packed swim stuff in our hand luggage but after wandering around and grabbing some food this wasn’t a huge issue for us. There is a tax to pay on check in approx £60. We opted to stay in the bay view rooms, having been upgraded to these on our first visit we didn’t want to miss out on the spacious room and the wonderful views. I had emailed ahead requesting a higher floor and we were fortunate to be granted this with Ade our brilliant housekeeper looking after us. These rooms are incredible with a rainforest shower and huge bath. Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries are replaced daily, as are towels, robes are also available. With these rooms there is a separate dining room, with a huge buffet choice at every meal. There are themed nights of German and Asian foods but otherwise international - and plentiful, as a vegetarian i had many options. The service within the restaurant was unbelievable with glasses being topped up and service constantly. We would like to mention several staff who made our dining experience - Maisie who makes the most lovely omelettes and listens when you say ‘well cooked’, Sailu and Ganesh went above and beyond with refreshments and Tim who checked at each meal that we had what we needed. There is a traffic light system advising when there are the busiest and quieter times. We ate breakfast at the Meze restaurant several times as this alternative was included too. There is the option to eat at the speciality restaurants with a deduction 60AED per person at each meal. We ate at The Anchor a couple of times and would definitely recommend the food, and the lunchtime buffet at the brasserie was plentiful and all included - there are so many food options. We sunbathed on the beach most days and beach towels can be obtained daily. Sun loungers and umberella’s were plentiful, we did secure our early as we are early risers enjoying the quietness of the morning. The beach is heavenly and the sea is beautiful. We purchased an inflatable from the site shop which cost approximately £35. Seems a lot but well worth the money as we opted for the one that allows the body to float in the water whilst supported, this enabled us to remain cool in the heat and lie in the sea reading and relaxing. We took towel pegs but these aren’t really needed as not windy. Worth taking goggles and the sea is crystal clear and fish are visible. One recommendation is to take a walk outside of the hotel. Having stayed at this hotel for many years I have to say that I was bitterly disappointed with this trip We booked a King Sea View Room on a half board basis which I understood to be Bed Breakfast and either lunch or dinner I have a problem with my hip and when we got to our room i was disappointed that on previous occasions we had managed to book a room with a walk in shower The room we were given had a shower over the bath and the sealing around the bath at the tap end was all breaking away which subsequently caused the water to seep through and flood the bathroom floor To get around the issue of the Shower situation we agreed to occupy a suite at an additional 200 Dirhams per night, the room in question did indeed have a shower but unfortunately as it was located on the top floor I experienced a huge problem with air coming from the taps bidet etc which as i explained to them must be caused with air in the system To my surprise a lady on reception admitted that there was an issue with the plumbing on the top floor and despite several visits fro engineering the problem was not solved fully. The other thing I complained about was that the Half board in their terminology actually means bed breakfast and a 50Dirham contribution to eat lunch or dinner. When I pointed out that 50 Dirham didn’t buy a burger and chips in the sports bar the comment I received was that Burger and chips fell under the heading of a La Carte which in itself seems ridiculous. The holiday was pretty much ruined by these events but would comment that the staff working in the restaurants and indeed the guys who take care of the guests on the beach and around the pool were exceptional in their professionalism and care offered to all the guests as was the Food and Beverage manager who went out of his way to listen and take on board the issues we experienced. When we originally stayed at the hotel it was managed by the Kempinski Group and unfortunately all I can say is that the overall experience we endured over our 10 night stay was far from what you would expect from a 5 Star establishment

We stayed for 7 nights and enjoyed our stay. Positives Staff very helpful A room was provided even though we checked in early Pool staff excellent Sun beds on beach plentiful Large room, big shower and bath Option to use 100 aed in restaurants Free bus to dubai twice daily Improvements Shower tray very mouldy Funny damp smell in room and floor 1 Air con hit and miss Lack of sunbeds around the pool after 8am Absolutely nothing to do in the evening. Singer on weekends only. Cant really go for a nice walk outside Cleaning of room to be improved Put some cold drinks in the fridge in the room. Not just water. If you want hot weather, good value for what you pay (far less than dubai) and are happy to accept some compromises eg no drinks after 11 and no entertainment in the week Then its all good. Would I return?? Probably not.

I had a wonderful experience staying at the Dream Palace Hotel in Ajman. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the friendly and welcoming Manager who made every effort to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms at the Dream Palace Hotel are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, and the room was air-conditioned, which was especially important during the hot summer months. The breakfast was particularly impressive, and delicious especially the cheese omelet The hotel's location is also a major plus. It is situated in the heart of Ajman, with easy access to the city's top attractions, including the Ajman Museum, the Corniche, and the Ajman Beach. Overall, I would highly recommend the Dream Palace Hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Ajman.

There is a problem with the hotel management. My order included breakfast, but the hotel system showed it without breakfast and they wanted to charge. My room card was locked when I went back at night. The problem was not solved for two days and finally Trip.com told me that the hotel was wrong.

I had the best experience staying at novotel. My family they enjoyed very well and we will surely come back and recommend to other friends and families. Its agood hotel for families mostly the swimming pool is out door and they have a kids playing area which is very nice. Good and clean gym with good equipments and the services are super starting from the front desk upon checkin the stuffs are welcoming, smiling, and so helpful. The breakfast is super b and house keeping team are so professional. In general you guys really made my stay memorable can't wait to come back.
