ROOM 546/547 connecting room; - Air conditioning did not work, very hot in the rooms! 26 gr! Reported, nothing could be done. We have stayed in the room 4 days out of 7 without properly working air conditioning. - Both safes did not work, did not open (solved after reporting to reception). - Maintenance of the room below par. - Shower cabin in room 247, does not close and edges are broken. - Shower cabin in room 246 leaks, leaving bathroom floor wet. - Cobwebs on both rooms in different places. - Room 247: the power cables are clearly and visible along the door; during stay sealed by handyman without reporting to us. - Terrace: dirty and dirty not maintained. - Sinks in both bathrooms; damaged, not the same as showen On website. - Park view is at these rooms, broken trees without any piece of greenery. SWIMMING POOL; Dirty and smelly water, children have ear infections from both the water of the aqua park and the large swimming pool. Poor maintenance resulting in missing tiles and broken spots. Brown edge in the pool that you could wipe away with your hands, why don't the lifeguards (they only look at their phones or each other) or maintenance people do that? DINNER ROOM; Staff does what they can but there is not enough control by managers, so work is slow and nothing is seen. Food should not be left on the floor, spilled drinks or food should be cleaned up in no time, which was not the case! Food itself is fine. Too little space to dine outside and if you can get a seat outside you have to watch out that your chair does not sink through the sides of the terrace, broken edges everywhere on the wooden planks.

We went in this hotel hoping we will relax and enjoy. We got even more than we ever imagined. 1. Personnel is very, very polite and helpful. Whether it's receptionists, manager, quality control manager, kitchen workers, staff that cleans and takes care of rooms, and whole animation team. Every staff member of Plava Laguna was great to us. 2. Animation team!!!! I think they are the best in Croatia. So nice, engaged, full of love for children, creative. They seem so united and friendly. Evening show for kids (and grown ups) is... perfect. We loved musical which was guided by choreographer Stjepan, it is amazing that such amateurs can create so lovely show. Kids are so delighted with the program, morning activities, games, fashion show, mini musical. We didn't come to leave our children with animation team, but they insisted to stay and were so happy... we came home and they still sing all the songs, dance... Send our love to Stjepan, Eva, Vanja, Dora, Domenico, Chiara, Ivan, Sara, Petra, Sanela and Kristina (and another Ivan)! 3. Aquapark and pools - there is something for everyone. Aquapark is for older children, but small poll is great for everyone. Fitness program in big pool is great, we loved Abrahams enthusiasm! 4. The beach is very close and accessible with walking trail in shade. The beach has enough chairs and the sand is great for children. 5. Restaurant is buffet type, but there's everything for everyone. Breakfast: eggs, bacon, bread, semolina, cereals, pancakes, croissants, vegetables, fruit, tea, coffee, cocoa... coffee from coffee machine is not good for me, but the one from big bucket is filter coffee and it is great. Dinner has two types of soup, vegetables, lot of fish, meat, omelets, pizza, pasta, rice, cakes, wine, beer, juice, water, ice cream. 6. Kids aged 4 to 11 have lunch and ice cream, it was sufficient for ours. We will definitely come back! I'm not saying everyone will have the same experience as we did, but we are truly amazed and happy with hotel and especially with people that are part of it.

I stayed in this hotel only 2 days and I have to say it was really pleasant. 5 stars to the rooms, pools and food. I recommend it. It is ideal for families. Children have free lunch and also a snack. Staff very kind and always available. I will definitely be back. Highly recommended. See you soon

Eastern block building, which has been renovated in the meantime, but unfortunately still exudes the charm of the 80s. Rooms in the residence part were good and newly renovated, but catastrophically bad service and gastronomy. For the first time in my life early departure from the hotel! Location: approx. 200 meters from the sea, nice little beach, approx. 5-10 minutes by car from the center of Umag. The newly renovated family rooms on the ground floor have a large terrace. It is cleaned every day and the towels are changed. The main pool and a hotel path is not far away. However, it was quiet in our room. The beds were comfortable. Our daughter's fold-out sofa is also good. The room size itself is good for a family of four. The staff was mostly not as friendly as one had hoped. In other countries it is already more attentive and friendly. Apparently this is a specific problem of Croatia. Either they are all paid so badly or it's the mentality that you don't greet and show a friendly face. Unfortunately, the staff in the restaurant isn't as sharp as you might expect for a 4 star hotel. Completely insane: the chef runs his fingers into the sauce before our eyes and then into his mouth! Disgusting! You don't want to know what happens in the kitchen itself. The food itself was the worst of any hotel I've been to in recent years. Selection, variety and quality of most of the dishes were below average and unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. The "coffee" from the machine was undrinkable and the milk "frozen" as if it were sour. Beverages (beer, wine, soft drinks, juices) are included with dinner and are for self-service. Beer was ok. Wine and juices bad. Chairs in the slot machine area broke and tip over when sitting down. Mini disco in the hall of the reception area. It's not possible that there isn't a separate area for it. Much praised water park still closed at the end of May (!)!

1) Nous avions réservé l'hôtel en veillant bien qu'il y a un ascenseur. J'ai de gros problèmes de santé. Cet hôtel est très étendu. On nous avons donné une chambre située à des dizaines de mètres de la réception dans un bâtiment annexe. Nous chambre se trouvait au sous-sol qui tenait PAS desservi par l'ascenseur. Je demande le même jour qu"'en est-il du montant à payer si nous partons dès le lendemain matin. On me répond que les 2 dernières nuits ne seront pas dues mais on me propose aussi de nous changer de chambre le lendemain. 2) Le lendemain, on me signale qu'une autre chambre à déjà été réservée pour les 2 nuits restantes. Jamais donné mon accord. Elle insiste pour que je prenne cette chambrece que je refuse devant mon refus catégorique, elle me propose de parler au manager. Je refuse puisque je n'en vois pas la raison. Enfin elle me communiquele montant dû. Ressemble à de l'arnaque. 3) Déjeuner passe-partout avec des jus de "fruits" insipides

Das schlechteste Hotel in dem wir je waren. Dreckig, unfreundlich, Speisen das allerletzte. Haben noch nie so ungesund essen müssen. Abends sind wir in Restaurants essen gegangen, da dies hier gar nicht geht. Frühstück leider ebenso. Kaffee unterirdisch. Service gleich null. Poolwasser milchig dreckige Suppe. Innenpool gesperrt. Fitnessstudio dreckig, wird nicht gereinigt. Ver staubt verschwitzt einfach nur widerlich. Strände sind in instrien leider fast komplett betoniert. Man brauch also ein Auto um hier wegzukommen und sich die Zeit schön zu machen. Ein Tag im Hotel unerträglich. Und dann für den Preis. Für eine zwei Sterne Hotel wäre das alles ok gewesen. Aber das hier ist wirklich das allerletzte! Nie wieder!!!!!!
