This hostel is located in the same area as the campsite and has a shared kitchen, washing machine, play equipment, etc., making it a convenient facility for long trips where you want to cook your own meals by car, but the price is a little high considering the location and facilities.

Surprisingly nice, very clean, comfortable beds, river view from room was special. Breakfast was filling and fresh. Given limited meal options in Ulvik, having access to the adjacent campgrounds kitchen was helpful. We were there for local hikes. Can be treacherous if recently rained.

Rooms are small with limited amenities but the location overlooks the fjord and that view is pretty refreshing. The staff at the reception didn't look to be in the mood to help and instead was simply providing terse answers. They couldn't even tell us about taxi! We found out later that Ulvik essentially had only one taxi service. They should keep this information. Breakfast was good but doesn't start before 8 am.

This guesthouse in the beautiful village of Ulvik is affordable . A small but well-assorted breakfast buffet is included. I recommend bringing earplugs for sleeping in case you've been booked into one of the family rooms located next to the river (it's quite noisy). Good availability of car parking lots. My only complaint for this accommodation is that the mattress was too soft for my preference. Others may find it comfortable. Either way, you'll have a great experience staying here for a night (or two).

We had a wonderful experience at Hardanger Guesthouse. The location is ideal and the views are incredible. The host went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay. The rooms are comfortable and contain all the necessities. Since we were visiting during the off season, the restaurants in the area all close pretty early. The host kindly made us a late night dinner. The pizza and burgers were surprisingly good! The breakfast also exceeded my expectations. The facilities were nice. The game/TV room was an added bonus. We appreciated the ample seating outside so we could take in every minute of the view. I big thank you to our host who made our trip even more enjoyable and memorable!

In the top. We were upgraded and stayed in the guesthouse. Magnificent accommodation! Decorated with great style, well equipped (there is even a bathtub!) and very clean. The location is very good. There are walks to do nearby
