"The hotel's location is fantastic. It's just a 10-minute walk to Darling Harbour or the University of Sydney (USYD), and about 15 minutes on foot to Chinatown. There's also a small park right downstairs, and the area is surprisingly quiet – truly a peaceful retreat amidst the city's hustle and bustle.
The room itself is quite spacious and even includes a small balcony. Considering Sydney's prices, getting a hotel like this for the cost is absolutely excellent value for money!"
"Nice little hotel. Not far from Paddy's Market at the top of town. Breakfast was just fine. Barista Coffee was very good. The staff was nice and friendly. Clean and tidy, but probably due for a lick of paint. Recommended."

"Facilities: The room is spacious and the bathroom is spacious. Most rooms are not carpeted, which I personally prefer. There is a washing machine and dryer in the room. Disposable shower gel, toothbrush and slippers are not provided.
Hygiene: Overall it is OK. It should be noted that if someone needs to clean the room, the sign should be hung on the door handle outside the door.
Environment: It feels very convenient to go anywhere. It is not very noisy at night.
Service: Storage service is provided"
"The location is close to the light rail station,
A small old-style hotel full of character
But please note that since it is an old-style small hotel, there is no elevator.
There is no reception either, guests need to check in at the bistro next to the entrance.
The design of the room retains some of the old-style decoration, giving it a pastoral and rural feel without being too shabby.
The room has an independent bathroom. The bathroom environment is clean and tidy. The overall stay experience is comfortable and has an old-fashioned feel.
Although the small bar next to the entrance is very unique, it is a bit intimidating because of its small size.
The friends in the bar were very enthusiastic, which made me deeply feel the warmth and welcome of Australians.
The location is close to a light rail station,
a quaint, old-style small inn.
However, be mindful that as an old-style inn, there is no elevator.
There is also no reception desk; guests need to check in at the small tavern next to the entrance.
The rooms maintain some old-style decorations, providing a rustic and pastoral feel without being too run-down.
Each room has a private bathroom, which is clean, and overall the stay is comfortable with an old-world charm.
However, the small tavern by the entrance, although quite distinctive, was found to have small cockroaches, which was off-putting.
The friends at the bar are very warm, making me deeply feel the enthusiasm and nature of Australians."

"We were assigned a corner room with two glass walls, but it wasn't noisy, likely due to its inward-facing position. The room was clean and tidy, though housekeeping required a reminder. The location is decent; it's about a 10-minute walk to Central Station, and getting to the Opera House requires about a 15-minute tram ride from Central Station. The downstairs bar offers complimentary lemonade and lollipops. I noticed many flight crews choose this hotel. Overall, it's a pretty good option."
"When looking for a Hotel close to the center and to a major station, this one came up as the overall winner when considering price, location, and facilities.
We booked two rooms, and the staff was immediately very helpful and responsive. In fact, I asked about a late check-in (after closing time) and I had an immediate, positive reply. This was confirmed at the check-in.
The facilities are a bit what you would expect. Everything is reasonably clean, but the carpet and furniture are a bit old. The bed was ok, yet, I noticed that the fitted sheet did not reach the bottom of the mattress, which I found really bizarre. The room was overall quiet, although it had no windows, thin walls, and part of the roof looked like it was letting some light through. Also, I disconnected the fridge to keep it quieter. A kettle with some coffee and tea were provided, and some food from the previous guest was in the fridge.
As many have mentioned, I did not see an actual breakfast buffet. For this reason, I preferred having breakfast in one of the cafés around the area. Finally, it does not seem that the room was cleaned after our first night, but I read that room service has to be requested, and we did not need it.
All things considered, my family and I had a good stay. For sure, it feels like we spent a lot for what we got, but this seems more due to the area than anything else."
