H9 Hotel Nine Ulaanbaatar

The entrance is up the stairs to the right, facing the hotel. You might worry you're walking straight into the cafe, but if you continue, you'll find the elevator. The front desk is on the 3rd floor. The toilet and shower have a transparent partition, so the floor and toilet don't get soaked. Water pressure and temperature are perfect. There's both a rain shower and a handheld showerhead. Amenities include a toothbrush, toothpaste, and shower cap. A hairdryer, slippers, hangers, tissues, and bottled water are provided. Breakfast is standard and tastes ordinary. There's a place called Modern Nomads on the ground floor. Our guide said the food wasn't great, but as a Japanese person, I found it delicious. It's convenient because you can eat and drink late and then head straight to the hotel. Sukhbaatar Square is about a 3-minute walk away. There were no issues with the location or cleanliness.

The hygiene needs improvement. There were unidentified hairs, unknown liquids, and many stains.

This hotel was perfect for exploring the city on foot. It's close to a bus stop, and you can walk to famous tourist spots. The amenities were plentiful, with almost all the essentials provided. Be aware that the laundry service isn't self-service; you have to request it and pick up your items the next day. Breakfast was excellent!

It's a bit of a walk from Sukhbaatar Square, but the hotel is conveniently located with a restaurant right downstairs and a convenience store directly across the street. The facilities are clean, water pressure is strong, and shampoo and toothbrushes are provided. It would be perfect if they also offered pajamas. I felt reassured by having staff at the reception even for an early morning check-out. This might be true for Ulaanbaatar in general, but it's probably best not to go out late at night as the atmosphere can feel a bit rough.

Right next to Sukhbaatar Square, the location was excellent and it was very clean. They were incredibly thoughtful, even preparing a packed breakfast for my early morning check-out.

This hotel was conveniently located close to Sukhbaatar Square. The shower was lukewarm even at maximum setting and the water pressure was weak. The hairdryer worked fine at first, but then it shorted out and became unusable. Breakfast was delicious and served in a clean setting, mainly Western style.

The room was spacious, but the bed was incredibly small – so small you could practically roll off it. However, the location was super convenient. There's a restaurant downstairs, just a 5-minute walk away, and a shopping mall right by the main square, making dining and everything else very easy. Plus, it's less than a 10-minute walk from the airport express stop.
