I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Barefeet Retreat. Kim and Sander's hospitality made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The breathtaking view of the ocean was a highlight of my trip, and I loved waking up to it every morning. My room was impeccably clean, offering a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The breakfast was rich and delicious, with plenty of options to start the day off right. I can't recommend Barefeet Retreat enough—it’s a perfect getaway for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy stunning scenery with warm, welcoming hosts.

Very nice place to stay with an excellent breakfast and wonderful hosts. Very helpful in many ways. Area provided to hang and dry your scuba equipment. The pool available is also nice to cool off in. Thank you for finding an excellent dive shop so close. Thanks for joining me on a dive.

Sander and Kim were wonderful hosts. The property was very clean and comfortable. I really loved the rainfall type shower. Great beach style decor with a fridge and safe in the room. Lovely soft bedding. The "Peaceful room" lived up to it's name. I would highly reccomend this guest house.

What a nice place ! The room is incredibly clean. Sander and Kim make your stay incredibly pleasant and enjoyable. Breakfast is freshly made for you with eggs, fresh fruit, yohurt, delicious sausages and every day another nice surprise. The B&B has a large and crystal-clear swimming pool overlooking the ocean. There are also blissful sun loungers. As Sander is a diver himself, he can inform you about all the fun facts about diving. This B&B is a safe place for solos and highly recommended.

The name says it all! It was a quiet retreat away from the bustling Christmas crowds. The room opened into a quaint courtyard that allowed for reading under the trees. When you sit and eat your breakfast on the lovely open-air verandah, the view of the sea is spectacular. The owners, Kim and Sander, were so friendly and accommodating. Not far from Scottburgh main beach and all amenities. It is very safe for a female solo traveler. The room was very clean and modern. Lovely design.

Owners were very sweet. Checked in on me daily and made sure I was safe as I was travelling alone. They even dropped me of at the shops when I was in a rush as I also didn’t have car. Would recommend 100%. Rooms are clean and beautiful; it has all you need.

A very tranquil B&B in a stunning location with the most amazing view. We loved every moment here; spacious rooms, very clean and a lot of attention to detail. The Family Room has everything you possibly need including an outdoor shower! Kim and Sander are the best hosts, serving us a delicious breakfast every morning and treating us to a wonderful dinner on one of our nights. The beach is just around the corner, as well as many options for restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this accommodation to anyone who is seeking a quiet, unique and all-encompassing getaway.

Bare feet retreat was a wonderful comfortable place to teak a break. Close to all amenities. The owners are readily available for any advice or just a friendly chat. Highly recommend place to stay with wonderful thoughtful touches in the room.
