We wanted a quiet place to spend some quality time together and could not have found a better place to celebrate a memorable occasion just 2 hours away from home! The resort is situated on a lovely forest and is a dream for nature lovers, we did the hike to the dam which was relatively easy. Then we attempted the 7 km hike and got thoroughly lost, thanks to GPS we found our way back safely, albeit via the N2, so it turned out to be more like a 15km hike for us. It seems that the 7 km route is not frequently used and the pathway is not well maintained, but that's the responsibility of the KZN Parks Dept, not the Resort I think. I think there should be better signposting along the trail as well! Back to the resort, it has a very lovely heated pool which my wife thoroughly enjoyed and we were pleasantly surprised that the area was very cool at this part of the year. There are no airconditioners but during our stay we had no use for one, as the weather was very lovely and mild. We live on the KZN south coast where it is rather humid and uncomfortable during this part of the year! All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Ingeli.
