Lily sets the tone at check-in and that’s top notch service. You feel welcomed and at home right away. Our Stormy/Rain Cloud room was beautiful, spacious, and the attention to detail was everywhere. The breakfast was delicious and a fun experience which parallels the culinary experience at the restaurant. Stay here and dine here! It’s a winning pairing. We can’t wait to come back. Just book :)

We stayed for two nights in a really modern and comfortable spacious room with beautiful bedding and a gorgeous modern bathroom. We loved the hiking around Ucluelet however the highlight of our trip Was the tasting menu in the Pluvio Restaurant. The food was creative tasty and a work of art. The staff were lovely and very professional. I had the plant based menu which was super. We sat at the chefs table which was really wonderful to see the team work and their creations. Bradley did a amazing job playing his part in the team whilst inducting a new member of staff. some fabulous memories, thank you Pluvio

Had a lovely stary at Pluvio rooms. The room itself was spacious and had everything and more needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the decor of the room and bathroom, the underfloor heating was lovely and the little games to play added a little extra to the room to relax together. We really enjoyed being able to take advantage of the fire pit on the outdoor patio at nighttime. The breakfast bento box was a lovely little touch - my partner did enjoy it more than I did (I would have liked maybe a little pastry included - a mini croissant etc but that is just personal preference) so it can be hit and miss but having it included was a really nice way to have a slow start to the morning and not having to worry about where to grab a breakfast on the go. Would 100% stay at Pluvio again if we are in the area - my partner described it as one of the best rooms he has ever stayed in!

We booked a Pluvio room for a weekend away from Vancouver city. The drive from Nanaimo ferry terminal was a beautiful lead up to a wonderfully relaxing weekend. Our room was ready on arrival and check in was super easy with parking right next to our room. The room is bright, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Gorgeous big bathroom with rain shower, local organic toiletries and fresh white towels and robes. The bed was big and comfortable with ambient lighting and AC in the room. The balcony is quiet and private and looks out onto trees and garden. Lots of nice touches such as iron and full size ironing board. Breakfast is provided in the room. Fresh ground coffee, teas, milk and cream and a freshly prepared bento box of delights. We had eggs, smoked fish, salad, Greek yogurt, berries and delicious granola. All prepared in the restaurant. We dined at Pluvio both nights. Absolutely outstanding as ever. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay at Pluvio.

Everything was top notch in the Pluvio rooms. The bed was comfy and lovely bedding. Nice thick towels which I love. Wonderful shower that was hard to get out of only because I didn’t want to! The breakfast was definitely not the stale bun in a bag with no expiry (questionable quality), coffee was a fresh press and had lovely items like fresh salmon or tuna. Not the average breakfast for sure. Stayed in the upper rooms which offer nice patios in one direction and the roof top garden on the other. Can’t wait to return! Thank you Lily.

Like the well-loved story of Goldilocks, everything at Pluvio was just right. The hard-working team of Lily, Warren and crew make their perfect hosting seem effortless. No pretence here, this two-night stay afforded me the best sleep I've had in some time (and not just because the cats were home and not waking me up at 4 am!). Very clean and comfortable room (the Crab room upper floor), very sunny when the drapes are open, and a king-size bed with beautiful linens. Just like a warm hug. And all this in the beauty of the best west coast of Vancouver Island with biking and hiking trails providing epic views of this rugged landscape. The Chef's Tasting Menu at Pluvio Restaurant is not to be missed and warrants a review of its own.

Do yourself a favour and treat yourself (and a loved one) to dinner and a stay at Pluvio Restaurant and Rooms. This isn't our first visit to the restaurant but coupling it with a stay at their well appointed rooms made it next level. So lovely to enjoy a delicious, leisurely dinner with cocktails and wine pairings and then walk five steps to fall into the comfortable king sized bed with garden views. On top of that, you get to wake up to a delicious bento style breakfast waiting for you in your room and start your day with strong coffee while you enjoy the moody vibes of Ucluelet. The restaurant tasting menu has always been phenomenal - and still is - well worth the trip for us (from Vancouver). The team working at Pluvio is flawless, the food divine and the wine pairings inspired. To pair it with a stay at their cozy, modern rooms made the experience perfection. Highly recommend, we will be back.

This place is fantastic! We've stayed at Pluvio two times and will definitely come back again. The most peaceful gateway imaginable. I value the team's attention to detail and the best customer service. Breakfast is delicious, the dinner is impressive. I can't wait to come back!
