If it was possible, I'd give this 4.5 stars, as it scored on so many levels - except one. A shabby-chic old hunting lodge carefully and lovingly restored. Big room. Fast i/net access. Super-comfortable bed. Bathroom fine. Nice breakfast outside on the terrace. Very quiet, peaceful surroundings, easy to find, and nice, helpful owners. The one downside - which actually didn't matter that much as we were only there for a couple of nights (but would've been a prob if we'd stayed longer) - was that the beds weren't made-up or the room/bathroom tidied each day. Never ever stayed in a hotel that didn't do this - and maybe there was a good reason - but it was just a bit odd...

Getting married on December 17 and hosting everyone in this delicious estate will leave us with the most beautiful memories in our hearts...A remarkable place of rare poetry, cozy rooms decorated with charm and taste, apartments reserved for friends and family were perfect, comfortable and warm. We are very happy to have discovered this place and our host who is so kind and caring! The breakfast together was perfect, we enjoyed ourselves and we will come back with great impatience! Avons été déçu par l'environnement mal entretenu ainsi que la piscine que nous n'avons pu utiliser.. Chambre correcte mais là aussi entretien moyen (volets notamment)par contre bonne literie. Bon petit déjeuner Sommes désolés mais nous n'y retournerons pas

Arrivée à 22h …. Difficultés pour trouver l endroit puis le parking (à priori, j étais le seul client de la soirée car aucune voiture sur le parking) Personne à la réception mais un mot sur la porte d entrée à mon attention avec le nom de la chambre. Chambre superbe et très confortable Au réveil sous le soleil, vue splendide et bâtiment exceptionnel. Grosse déception au petit déjeuner par une personne peu aimable qui me laisse seul 10 minutes pour préparer mon petit déjeuner (en ayant pris soin de fermer à clé son bureau…. Au cas où …) , me dépose les produits sans me dire à quoi sont les confitures (excellentes pour les deux, j ai reconnu framboises mais je cherche toujours la seconde) puis me laisse seul dans la salle et retour dans son bureau en fermant la porte. Au moment de partir je lui demande une facture pour la taxe de séjour….. s en étonne et me dit « c’est la première fois que l on me demande une facture…. Vu le montant…. » Dommage car j aurai bien aimé y retourner lors de mes déplacements professionnels mais je n ai vraiment pas envie de voir une personne désagréable comme premier contact de la journée
