A bit far from Aso city centre, but the services are exceptional. Dinner and breakfast are beautifully presented and delicious, made with fresh ingredients. Have public and private Onsen which can be used in the evening and morning.

I have been to Kyushu many times and stayed in hot spring hotels of different sizes. This one is really cost-effective, with warm service, comfortable hot springs, and delicious food.
