We were given a room on the second floor overlooking the swimming pool and garden where a bouncy castle is situated for parties. Unfortunately for us we had a very disturbed night with guitar playing and out of tune singing from below which went on till 2.00am. The room is fine though the shower is temperamental and can soak the bathroom as it spins out of its wall attachment! It is advertised that English is spoken but it isn't and trying to navigate the menu for dinner is a nightmare. I would suggest that an English translation is obtained. Google translate is helpful but not always accurate. Ubeda is an interesting city with many beautiful buildings and is well worth a visit though the hotel is about a thirty minute walk to the old town centre. The museum of St John of the Cross is particularly interesting as is a tour of the small mediaeval synagogue.

A year and a half coming and going from Albacete to Úbeda to see my son. I don't have the words to express the good things I had the year and a half I was there. I just want to thank everyone for everything in general, from the way I treated everyone, from the cleaning staff to the waiters and waitresses, to the kitchen, reception and bar. Everything was good in general at the hotel, the service, cleanliness and facilities. A little far from the town but not too far. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The staff in general was attentive. A little noisy at certain times of the night.

We arrived at the hotel and they told us that check-in time was 3pm, because due to our anger we went to eat far away from there, well, we couldn't check in until 3:30pm because the room wasn't ready, if you're not capable of providing that service don't take it or give a discount on the price, which in my opinion is abusive, it was August 31st.

El hotel está decente, las habitaciones limpias aunque antiguas. Lo peor de todo es la comida, te ponen los platos servidos en la mesa (no tienes ninguna información de lo que te van a poner) no les cuesta nada poner en menú que tienen ese día. Si quieres cambiar el postre (un pastel de chocolate) por una fruta te dicen que si eres diabético te lo cambian, eso sí solamente por una naranja ya que no tienen nada más. Otro punto a destacar es que en la comida le pedimos al camarero que nos traiga aceite (estamos en la tierra del aceite) y la respuesta del camarero es que no puede traerlo porque no se lo permiten, que solo se pone en el desayuno. Aido de ejemplo pongo la foto de una sopa que nos pusieron ayer de cena, cómo se puede apreciar solo a la vista es totalmente inapetente. Con esto critico al hotel y por supuesto a turismo social y como responsable último al IMSERSO, estos dos son los que tienen que velar porque se cumplan unas condiciones al menos decentes.
