When you book a room defined as luxury in a four-star resort you expect a certain level of quality, but in this case this was not the case: - the room, according to the description on their website, must have measured 40 square meters (it was not even close to 30 ), have a terrace with a view of the Atlantic Ocean (in reality it was a balcony shared with the neighbors in the next room, which overlooked a marsh surrounded by plants so thick that it was impossible to stay in the room without turning on the electric light and furnished with two very uncomfortable wooden deckchairs), have a pleasant marine decoration (I had to say quite sad, plus the wardrobe was low, open and insufficient). Furthermore, the room was damp and cold, the air conditioner was broken, but it was only cold air anyway (which was quite absurd, given that it was 15 degrees at night and we had to sleep in pajamas, sweatshirts and socks, despite the duvet) , the safe didn't lock and I would have considered the bathroom to be in need of modernization in the 1980s (and only cold water came out of the sink tap). The only positive aspect is the excellent quality mattress. - the food, again according to their website, was supposed to be the meeting between the best of Brazilian cuisine with the sophistication of contemporary world cuisine... I would say that, if they met, then they said goodbye very quickly :-), breakfast without quality and with very little choice, as soon as we arrived I took a ham and cheese toast, which although good didn't look good, the second day we had lunch there and it was a bad idea because the chicken with orange sauce and grilled vegetables it was almost inedible, so much so that I left more than half: chicken burnt on the outside and rubbery on the inside, very salty courgettes, almost raw tomatoes and onions and aubergines... fried! -the common areas: the breakfast/lunch room was nothing special, the reception was beautiful and had wonderful floral arrangements (I would say the only four-star feature of the resort), the deck before the beach was pleasant to look at, but then the sunbeds were uncomfortable and the bar was very sad, the beach was beautiful (not their merit), but with equipment that only a one-star pension would not be ashamed to provide, the pool area was also beautiful, it's a shame that they were doing the work and the noise of the electric saw is not exactly the accompaniment one wants to relax...And to top it off the shop next to the reception is always closed! In summary: a total disappointment!!! If it hadn't been for the mattress and the floral decorations I would have given a 1, also because the price corresponded to a four star... blessed presumption...
