Do you love good food? Do you love fine dining? Do you love a fabulous dining experience? Do you love a beautiful view? Do you love local cuisine? Do you love sustainable tourism? Then I have a hidden gem for you: the Filefjellstuene hotel! We stayed in an apartment overlooking the mountains and a river, but the real reason I became such a fan of this place was the restaurant. Absolutely wonderful stay and disregard the older reviews from years ago. This place is newly renovated and amazing! It was even better than we had expected. I am a clean freak and the room was SO nice and clean. The breakfast buffet was amazing. So many things to choose from. We decided to have the 3 course dinner and it did not disappoint. Highly recommend this hotel. The surrounding area is beautiful too.

Fantastic Accommodation and the Restaurant is amazing, the best food we had in Norway . Staff were attentive and helpful and went above and beyond to help us and make our stay perfect. Even drove us and all our luggage to the station after our stay.

The restaurant at this venue is five star. The meals became a feature of our trip. The staff are extremely helpful. I have nothing negative to say re this establishment. They offered pick up and delivery services and went out of their way to meet customer needs/ requests.

We rented a cabin (2 bedroom apartment) through Filefjellstuene, and was delighted! The apartment was nice, clean, the beds were fantastically made up, great big pillows, and all amenities we needed. Also great situated for short and long trips in the wonderful Norwegian mountains. So nice and friendly staff, so we (couple with child 3yrs) had a wonderful time! Would recommend it 100 % - don’t just think about staying here, just do it!

Très bel appartement dans un joli chalet spacieux et bien équipé Belle salle de bain Bonne literie Petit balcon pour profiter d une belle vue Personnel souriant et compétent dont un charmant jeune homme parlant français Excellent restaurant ( je conseille le plat de renne..un delice)
