Impeccable cleanliness, especially within the bathroom. The room was spacious with ac/heating should one need, plus there were lockers and locks to the room door, accessible via key and key fob respectively (likewise the front door). Water and coffees and breakfast is available at the hostel too, as are tour options. Overall, the place is excellent and popular with tourists from around the world. The social spaces are ambulant and there is a cute golden retriever and kitty for bonus points. Would recommend 200%

The new dap Hostel is a good hostel for travellers to explore the surroundings of Turpan. The hostel has basic facilities except no kitchen available for cooking your meal. The hostel is about 4 km away from the city centre.

Very good hostel in Turpan. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, they will help with organizing all kinds of things like tours, taxis etc.
Room has AC, bathroom is clean, common area is nice.

Among the best hostels in China. Cozy and managed with great care and love. Very pet friendly, baslc English speaking staff. Highly recommended!

Very friendly place and met lots of interesting travellers. Staff very helpful and the owner speaks good English. Local store right next door and lots of local restaurants nearby. Enjoyed lamb kebab (barbecue) at one place and Da Pan Ji (Big plate chicken) at another.

This place has the soul of Uyghur people. The round bread you can have next to the hostel is incredibly delicious. The whole road is where the Uyghur people lives. The city center has very different vibes. We had a good time taking a tour of Turpan with the driver the hostel organized.
The weather got too cold in the desert area so we could not stay longer here. I hope to come back here in my life. Just one thing, some trains coming to Turpan is very early in the morning. It would be nice if the reception could open earlier in certain days.

I stayed in this hostel for 5 days and it was a beautiful experience. The design, the common areas to meet people coming and going from west to east and the warm attention of the owner and staff makes this place a perfect stay in Turfan.
One good tip: don't waste time waiting for bus 5 just go down the road and take another one.
One good recommendation: enjoy the lovely golden retriever that will welcome you every day 😀

Amazing place to stay in Turpan! Perfect English is spoken and staff is very friendly and helpful. Great common areas and fantastic coffee is available from the cafe at the front. Highly recommend this Hostel.

I loved this hostel — very friendly people in a beautiful space. The owner speaks excellent English, which is helpful, and they have an attached cafe and bar where you can get coffee or try Turpan local wine. While not quite in the center of town, it’s on a street with plenty of good restaurants. The one thing I didn’t like is that you have to buy your own toilet paper, though they sell it very cheaply.
