This is our 4th visit to Turnberry over the years.It is always a real treat to stay there. The rooms are beautiful with stunning bathrooms. We were lucky this time to get a complimentary upgrade to a junior suite as the hotel was quiet. Ate in Duel in the Sun on the first night and in the 1906 on the second night both meals were lovely and service was good .Breakfasts were spot on although we personally preferred when the hot buffet was an option rather than ordering from a menu.The Grand Tea Bar is a lovely spot to relax and enjoy a drink .The Spa is also worth a visit. All the staff are very friendly and helpful.The atmosphere is”posh”but not stuffy. We aren't golfers but it must be an amazing place to be if you are a keen golfer. Worth a walk out to the lighthouse too although closed in the winter.Can't wait for our next visit !
