two comments on otherwise nice hotel (newer hotel, clean, near basic services and convenient location) 1) shampoo, conditioner & body soap dispensers in shower were empty -- didn't learn of it until already wet and in shower. error: house keeping messed up. 2) eggs & potatoes were cold & needed to be warmed in microwave, otherwise options for breakfast were ok & customary. stayed one night was there with family for a funeral service. we were on go with tight schedule, so disappointed that toiletries were not addressed until house keeping came in, after 8am. front desk should have had sample size soap & shampoo or other option to remedy situation. issue was addressed by time we returned from funeral service.

Didn’t like that when I explained if there was a discount for a state employee they didn’t honor it. U happy with that

The staff was amazing - the breakfast was good. Everything was clean & the beds we’re very comfortable! The only complaint was there was one tiny garbage can there should have been one in the bathroom too !

Spacious room. Good shower. Nice snacks & water. Good breakfast. All we needed.

I left a laptop charger behind and the staff found it and sent it to me. ❤️

The front desk staff was very polite, the room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. I appreciated how the breakfast staff kept everything stocked and tidy. We kept our room fan running constantly, otherwise freeway noise would have been an issue.

Stayed here for a sports event in the area. Great location with plenty of parking. Room was comfortable, breakfast was awesome (until 10!!!), and my kids loved the hot chocolate and mints in the lobby. Our only wish was that the pool was heated and towels outside. Otherwise a wonderful stay!

Only half a block from homeless people living in tents by the highway

This was a wonderful place to stay. The rooms were nice, clean, and well-designed. The breakfast had lots of choices, and those who served it were friendly and very helpful! I got two texts from the front desk making sure everything was to our liking. We will definitely stay here again.

Cleanliness, nice and modern rooms, nice breakfast and excellent customer service, especially the ladies attending the breakfast place.

Booked 2 rooms a few days before check in. Confirmed reservation a few times with hotel before check in. Day of check in, noticed that one of the rooms was not what we reserved. Complained to front desk. They blamed *******. Called ******* and confirmed that the hotel gave away our room. WTH!! 😡😡😡 Had no choice but to stay in the wrong rooms but filed a complaint with both hotel and *******. We have never had this happen to us with any hotel, especially this one. Have stayed here many times and never had any issues; until now. Going to stay at the Hampton Inn from now on. They really go above and beyond to accommodate your stay.

I booked 2 queens but we checked in late they gave us a king bed and a pull out sofa. My son wasn’t too happy about that but they were sold out so we couldn’t do anything. Overall everything else was good.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at The Hampton Inn Turlock, and to say that I was disappointed would be an understatement. Despite the promising reviews and reasonable pricing, my stay was far from satisfactory. First and foremost, the hotel staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful. I had a few inquiries during my stay, but when I approached the front desk, I was met with indifference and a lack of willingness to assist. The level of professionalism was far below what I expected from a hotel of this caliber. Moreover, the amenities promised on the hotel's website were nowhere to be found. The fitness center was poorly equipped and poorly maintained, rendering it practically unusable. The so-called "high-speed" Wi-Fi was slow and inconsistent, making it almost impossible to get any work done. To add insult to injury, the breakfast buffet left much to be desired. The selection was limited, and the food quality was subpar. The lack of variety and freshness was disappointing, especially considering that breakfast is often considered an essential part of the hotel experience. On the positive side, the location of the hotel was convenient, with easy access to nearby attractions and public transportation. However, this alone did not compensate for the numerous other disappointments.
