We've just got back from Eftalia village, 2 adults & 6 children ranging from age 7 to 16. We went for a week, we read all the bad reveiws and I was extremely worried about what id booked but once we got there I realised the reveiws arnt fair on the hotel. We found everything spot on from day 1, we arrived early hours, staff was friendly, we got offered a upgraded room but declined. We went for breakfast our first morning we all found at least something to eat there is a big selection of foods noone should be going Hungary. I have a child with additional needs and he was eating at every meal and he is unbelievablely fussy. The hotel is clean and tidy there's cleaners everywere, rooms get cleaned everyday with fresh bedding and towels. Good eating area realy clean any mess is cleaned up quickly and efficiently. The watersides in hotel are fantastic, they do close between 12 and 2 but gives you time to get your dinner and the actual pools stay open. I would absolutely recommend this hotel we had an absolutely amazing time. 2 snack bars in hotel open 12-4 one at each end and a huge snack bar in the water park which is realy good for food. We also went on 1 trip which was the big krag which was absolutely amazing great for little children with the foam party. I have seen a reveiw were people have said staff put towels down and expect money for the sun beds this isn't correct if u ask them for a bed they will get you some but they do not force you to pay we never did. We had a budget of 1500, we spent 1000 but that was the children having 100 each which they bought clothes, toys ect of their own choice which isn't a necessity = £800 and £200 on things for ourselves and 1 lot of ice creams in alanya and the boat trip. We did not spend anything additionaly on extras inside the hotel at all, you can add gin and lemonade to the none alcoholic cocktails. You can spend more money if you want to but I think if you went with minimal extra money you would still love your holiday. I do have a few niggley Negatives but didn't spoil our holiday at all- 1. Only 3 diffrent types of ice lolly's are free and they are only at one end of the hotel which is the pool without the slides. 2. Ignorant holiday makers not been able to que. 3. The water park slides have a age/height limit so my 7 year old couldn't go on the big slides on the waterpark slides there is a young children's bit aswell which is lovely but it should state that the slides have a age limit. 4. Towels that the hotel provide should be available at the pools and not reception we did take our own. You do find people will put a towel on a bed and not even use it at all that day which is unfair on people who want to be in the pool. We would definitely look at coming back in the future.
