Torretta Palace Hotel

After seeing Plitvice for 5 hours from the morning, we drove for about 2 hours to Dubrovnik, and arrived at a small hotel in Turanje, a small seaside town. I highly recommend this hotel for a quiet night's rest. First of all, it's cheap, and the rooms and bathrooms are very large. All the facilities are clean. Breakfast is also neatly provided. After breakfast, take a cup of coffee and sit at the table outside the hotel entrance and enjoy the sea breeze. The beach is just 10 meters in front of the accommodation. All the young male and female staff members were friendly. You can just park on the street in front of the hotel, but there is a free public parking lot 50 meters away. There are no proper restaurants or marts near the hotel, so I recommend eating outside and coming to the hotel. There is a pizza place right behind the hotel, which is cheap and delicious. Two people ordered one pizza each for dinner, and it was so big that we couldn't even finish half of it. About 50 meters away from the hotel, there is a pub like a local tavern where local people come out in groups after dinner to have a drink and chat. It was an atmosphere that made me want to fit in.

Our stay at this hotel was simply fantastic! The location is excellent - the beach is just a few meters away, so you can start the day with a relaxing walk by the sea. We particularly enjoyed breakfast on the terrace, directly overlooking the harbor. From there you have a beautiful view of the island, which makes the morning particularly magical. There are numerous bars and restaurants in the surrounding area that offer a variety of culinary experiences. The hotel's restaurant is also just a few steps away and offers excellent dishes in a cozy atmosphere. The hotel staff are extremely attentive, friendly and accommodating. We were always greeted with a smile on their faces, which made the stay even more pleasant. The hotel rooms are spotlessly clean and very cozy - you immediately feel at home. All in all, our stay here was just perfect and we can warmly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to spend a relaxing vacation in a great location.

Hotel is nicely located on the beach, price quality is less I was there with my husband and sons, booked 2 rooms I was on the 2nd floor and my sons in a depandance, our room was clean, except for the lamp that hung above the bed , there were all dead insects in it, so I couldn't sleep, because it gave me goosebumps all the time. The toilet didn't flush easily in the evening, and in the morning there was no high pressure at all to flush everything away. My sons liked their room too not clean, the beds were also not tidy The receptionist of the evening was extremely friendly In the morning the lady at the reception indicated our unpleasant experiences, to which she indicated, before I went home yesterday afternoon I checked everything for hygiene in the rooms , and you can share your experience, where I showed the picture of the lamp with dead insects, and she replied , yes that's a pity, but our hotel meets a “High Standard”, which really is not

We booked 3 nights, the anticipation based on the photos from the internet was great. Unfortunately, this place was also very deserted in October. The house and the rooms are furnished in a very cool way, there is quite a lack of loving style. The room was clean and functional, you had to wait about 2 minutes for warm water before showering. The restaurant was not visited by any guests during the three days, when we checked in we were informed of this service. The prices and the empty seats did not convince us. At breakfast there was a large coffee machine with many options, but the coffee was undrinkable. The large piston machine served us well on the first day, on the second day I had to ask the concierge, on the third day no one could be found because we were the only guests. Too bad we wouldn't come again
