Very nice motel close to the alpine crossing finished car Park . Very confortable room and bed with fully equiped kitchen . Quiet place also . Close to shop like New World . I really recommand this place .

Pretty basic motel with dated facilities. WiFi was good, but televisions were so small I’m not sure they make them anymore, and you certainly can’t cast to them and watch your streaming service. No air con so really warm overnight in the summer. And a very long walk to town.
Nice having a bar on site, with nice staff.
Room pots were a bit misleading as to size and configuration.
But, quiet, clean, just a bit tired.

Location perfect by the river for my husband to fish. Park like grounds so great for our two dogs. Friendly helpful staff. Comfortable bed.

Strange room layout. There are two single beds stuck against the glass sliding door and no night stands.

Nice food at the restaurant
Clean sheets and towels but more attention to detail needed eg old deodorant found in a drawer, shower class not as clean as it could be, shower head needs cleaning
Lovely housekeeping and bar staff
Needs a bit of a refurb especially shower area and vanity/toilet

The mattresses did not fit the beds properly. The adjoining door to the next door room was a bit disconcerting. The cooking facilities were extremely limited, and the dish washing facilities were ridiculous. The fan did not work.

Very quiet clean supplying everything we needed to prepare for hiking.Easily accessible to the national park where we were hoping to hike. (Unfortunately weather did not allow for our Tongariro crossing hike)

This was a nice place to stay over on our way from Auckland to Wellington. The room was small but comfortable, with a surprisingly well-equipped mini kitchen. It's right on the river, which you can hear but can't really see from the nice walking path along it. The desk staff were very friendly, as well.
