Super lovely, quiet, clean, and comfortable hostel. It was my first night of real rest once I made the decision to switch from another hostel in the neighborhood. The staff is so lovely, breakfast was very fresh and filling. I booked for one night and ended up staying three.

Coming to Akumal was the best decision I could make on my trip to Mexico. It’s just a really peaceful place where you can enjoy the best of the Riviera Maya (Cenotes, open water diving, ruins, jungle, etc…) while you stay in a really comfortable place far away from the turistic areas so is a really strategic point for a lot of excursions. The hosts and workers are really kind and willing to help you always. The rooms are really confortables and you realize they take care of things. Also is the perfect place if you want to dive, the hotel is also a diving center and they offer really good tours, courses and certifications. The Hotel is really clean and the spaces are really good to share and socialice with other travelers, specially the pool with a really cool view and nice breakfast.

I stayed 5 nights at the ITZA hostel and I cannot fault my stay. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, Clarissa and Fernando catered to all my requests and questions about Akumal and the surrounding area. The hostel was very clean, secure and well equipped. The owners were very friendly and assisted my requests for excursions. I would highly recommend staying here if you are in Akumal.

Very good hotel, not overpriced and in a couple of minutes you walk to the beach! The hotel is very clean & everything is brand new. The staff is really nice and the manager will help you with everything. Breakfast is good, you don’t have many choices but what you get is fresh & very good! If you are in Akumal you should go to this hotel. In the area, you can walk out of the street there are some good restaurants.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. All the staff are very friendly and there is a family feeling. In the morning we eat pancakes and drink coffee together. In the evening you can watch the sunset in the pool on the roof. You can use the kitchen and grill. It is only a few minutes' walk to the beach.

The hotel is brand new and as someone who has stayed in older hostels before, it felt like a luxury vacation. The highlight for me was the pool with a panoramic view. The hotel is in quiet Akumal but with a collectivo or taxi you can get to Tulum or Playa del Carmen in no time.

Nice hostel in a pretty pueblo, very nice and accommodating managers, great beds and very good and generous breakfast, good recommendations (cenotes with Eduardo, Buena Vida restaurant!), all that's missing is the beach a little closer, but the pueblo typical is very nice in the middle of the big tourist factories Tulum and Playa del Carmen!!

I felt at home. I needed to rest and recharge my batteries and staying 4 nights in this small hotel welcomed me wonderfully. Super clean, very comfortable bed. All the staff very friendly and helpful. They gave me excellent advice for the day's excursions. The room had a king bed and 2 bunk beds. They cleaned it daily. The hotel also has an area that functions as a hostel. I met people from many very nice places. The owner, Lara, is a sweetheart and always responded to my messages. There is laundry service for 100 pesos and you can cook for yourself. Breakfasts are included and are delicious. I will return and do the diving experience with Lara
