Id go back for sure. Unfortunately the sargasso was horrible but thats not their fault. The rooms can’t stay cold tho but id still return

The two-room with plunge pool was great and spacious. The hotel is very organic and unique. My only complaint was the AC, it was difficult to get the mini split to get to a comfortable temperature. Beds were comfortable. Dining options are a little far. Transportation is expensive. Onsite restaurant is quite good and the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

They did not disclose that an environmental fee or a security deposit would be taken at point of arrival. They also stole my neck fan- and proceeded to lie to us about the beach being closed. How can you advertise a beach experience when there is no beach??

It is seaweed season from April to August. The brown algae went on for about 10 metres along the beach and gave off the smell of sulphur. It was not swimmable. Excursions had to be paid in cash but the ATM on the property wasn't working. I had to pay a driver $70.00 just to take me to and from town which was a 10 minute drive just to get enough cash to pay for all of the excrusions. They would not accpet credit card. The toilet in my room tried to be fixed 2 times and some essentials like body wash was missing. The lights didn't work in the shower, the shower head didn't work properly (just trinkling down) and shower gel was missing...eventually they moved my room. When I asked for bottle water at 8:30 am, they said it was none available...it was finally delivered to me at 11:00 am.

The property was very nice overall. But the best part was the staff, very kind, responsive, and accommodating. Roberto in the restaurant was absolutely awesome. He was welcoming and attentive and even brought the kids a basket of donuts for national donut day. Worth coming back just for staff interactions. The front desk was always helpful and helped us to book transportation, car rental, excursions, seamlessly.

My boyfriend and I got the Oceanfront king bed mini pool room. The initial room we got was not what we expected and was nowhere pictured on ******* or their website. You can tell it was an older room and hadn’t been updated to the standards of their other rooms. We asked to be moved to the room we actually paid for and they moved us no problem. On our last night we did find a cockroach in our bathroom and there was a blood stain on our sheet. Note before booking that the AC isn’t that strong so the only cool area of the room will be the bed. Everywhere else is pretty hot. Other than that the 2nd room we got was super nice and I loved the private outdoor mini pool.
