It was great! The tents were really comfy and it was awesome being in the nature. We saw some wild animals, which was cool and the food there was really tasty! They do so much for the wildlife - we can difinitly recommend it!

Excellent glamping in the middle of nature, clean, tidy and to enjoy absolute tranquility. Bad luck, the train works that make contact with the environment difficult. The hotel's own cenotes are open 24 hours a day and there is a lot of fauna... A family of monkeys accompanied us for hours in the hotel grounds. The restaurant is very good, we had dinner and breakfast there, everything was perfect.

Fantastic visit to Natura Rescue Akumal. Tour guide was Cesar and he was incredibly.knowledgeable and deeply cared for the wildlife they were preserving. Thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone visiting the area. They kindly gave us a ride back to the hotel afterwards too.

We went on a day tour of the Animal Preserva, and it was absolutely beautiful. Cesar and Antonio shared their passion abut the animals in their care, it was such a joy to learn from them. Ending our very hot and humid exploring with a swim in the magical cenote was remarkable- truly a day that we will remember forever!!! We have a group of 16 and they accommodated us with a private tour. Definitely recommend!!

We spent a week in the Tulum/Akumal area. And by far this was our most favorite experience. Cesar was our tour guide and he clearly has a passion for the work there, extremely knowledgeable and shared about the flora & fauna. We learned so much during the tour and tasted a tiny pepper. He demonstrated the links between the plant life and animals there, history and the importance of their work to maintain the Eco balance. Strongly recommend bringing deet free insect repellent, as there is an aggressive swarming mosquitoes, they do sell it and it actually works, we bought extra bottles to bring home. There were so many special moments. It’s really hard to pick which one the monkeys were especially adorable and we were allowed to hold their hand & pet them. We gave them peanuts and watched them swing around living their best life, a beautiful surprise when a bunch of wild monkeys chasing each other in the treetops and we just watched them for a while, we never felt rushed. It was amazing. I never thought my life I’d ever see anything like that. Truly special. They had many other animals that they are trying to rehabilitate however someone unfortunately have been abused and neglected, unable to be released so they take so they continue with their care. They need our support to continue their solid work. After learning and interacting with many other animals, and after our very humid walk, we jumped into the cool stunning underground cenote. We were with a small group so we had it all to ourselves a stark difference from the other cenotes we visited. But wait, there’s more! Then onto Milopena Honey tasting from the stingless Mayan, honey bee that only produces very small amounts every year and definitely had a unique floral citrusy flavor, so different from the traditional honey. It was expensive, but it made the perfect gift versus a traditional souvenir. All the proceeds go to their rehabilitation efforts. They have an on-site restaurant that provides many great options. We had the garlic whitefish it was excellent. I know there’s tons of things to do in the Yucatán but this definitely has to be in the top five.

We did the Natura Rescue tour for the 2nd time. Cesar was our guide. The experience was even better than our first! So fun to spend time in the jungle learning about the native species (and a few non-native). Planting a tree, seeing wild monkeys on the property too (including a baby), and finally taking a dip in the serene and cool waters of their on-site, and un-adulterated cenote.... one of the highlights of our trip. The true highlight was Cesar's baby coati that followed us through the entire tour and interacts like a pet! Truly amazing experience. You do good work!

Cesar was amazing and so informative! They are doing amazing work and the message that they’re sending out into the world is worth hearing. I strongly suggest you grab a cab and support this animal rescue over the commercialized monkey sanctuary, which is just a zoo. This place is trying to rehabilitate and protect animals and they need your help. And the cenote they take you to is breathtaking. Visit!!

An ethical rescue that works to rehabilitate their animals so they can be released. Their tour includes seeing many animals, education on them, and interaction with a few of them. It also includes swimming inside a cenote. The staff clearly have a love for their work, and their animals.
