The best jungle hotel I've ever stayed in, bar none. Free bicycles, kayaks, and cave exploration activities. But there is only one restaurant nearby and it's a bit expensive.

Wakax is a nature lover’s heaven. It’s so beautiful, with loads to do. The staff were without exception perfect, as were the rooms and the delicious food! We were treated so well. We were shown around the site by the on-site guide David, he was so kind, he talked about the history of the site and took us to the Cenotes. His passion really made our stay magical, his obvious love for nature and history really fits with the vibe of the hotel. We also loved the yoga and that you can get around the site on bicycles if you wish! We are already talking about coming back next year.

We love this place! Best family trip to date. The owners and the staff were so kind and accommodating. This place is pure magic. There are so many adventures daily that you do not have to leave the property- ask for David he is the best! It is serene and peaceful. From the bike rides, yoga, caves, cenotes, lakes - sea turtles nearby, peaceful pools it truly has it all. I can’t say enough good things. This is truly a magical place. We will be back.

The property was very serene and beautiful. It was exclusive, the rooms and the amenities were well decorated. The restaurant at the property was top level. Special note to David, who gave us a memorable experience with the jungle and cenote tour. Highly recommend

One of the best experiences. My boyfriend and I went together. We started our day with yoga (his first time) and he mentioned it was the most relaxed he’s felt in years. After that we paddle boarded on the cenote covered in lily pads. Also road bikes around and saw some animals on the property. Took a tour of the underground cenotes which was by far the highlight of the trip. The pools are also great and not crowded at all almost felt like we had the place to ourselves. Dinner we had the best fish we’ve ever had along with tasty drinks. They even had a non-dairy dessert for me! I’d give it more stars if I could!

TRULY A GEM! Can’t say enough incredible words about this hotel. It’s actually magical. When I read other reviews explaining it was magical I thought they were exaggerating — they weren’t. It is so special and everyone that works there is beyond kind and helpful. Originally we had looked at a hotel on the beach of tulum that was double the price but when sold out I discovered this! Thanks goodness the other one was sold out because it could have NEVER compared to this magical family experience. We went with my 4yo and 1yo. The only thing to keeep in mind is with my 1yo I always had to stay close to her because lots of water she could fall into and hard surfaces everywhere! It was easier with my 4 year old. Overall it was INCREDIBLE. I can’t wait to come back. Job Tlurs who did the cenotes tour with my family and took them to see the pigs was FANTASTIC as well, friendly informative patient and kind!

This place is amazingly an out of time sanctuary for peace and resourcing. It was the fist stage of our trip to Yucatán and the most striking. The staff is so gentil and pleasant. Special thanks to David who made our days by visiting the area, discover cenotes and for all his recommandations. We will miss and will need to come back 😉
