Itza la Veleta Tulum

Hard to find hotel that does not even have a name on it. Apparently you check in at the convenience store that is attached. Clerk just stared at me and my paper and I left because I thought it was the wrong place. Someone off the street helped figure out it was the right place. Hours after we settled in my husband was told we had not paid and would have to leave immediately if we didn’t pay cash. We had confirmation number on email but that was not good enough. We paid again. A lot of street noise at night, people partying, traffic noise was normal. Second night a refrigerator truck parked outside our room and ran a crazy loud generator from 10pm to after 7am!!!! Room was clean, wifi and air conditioning worked. No hot water. One roll of toilet for 4 people for two days. Other store clerk next day was nice.
