Beautiful property, so relaxing and peaceful but still in a great location to beach clubs, shopping and nightlife. Excellent service from the staff. Breakfast was great everyday. Would highly recommend this property.

The hotel itself was super nice with a cenote, which is quite unique, but the service was sub-par. There are a lot of staff always lounging around chatting and chilling but not actually servicing. Asking for water and coffee milk at breakfast took forever, again with the staff just chit chatting near us but not actually getting the water or milk. The “butler service” was also a bit useless. At check out we waited for 10 minutes for someone to help us with luggage (Butler said they were on it) but ended up just carrying them ourselves. Basically the hotel is just very disorganized and seems like there’s no management.
It’s a good hotel if you don’t care about service basically!

Really nice room, staff were great.
We asked to change room because of the late night noise of the beach clubs, it was a lot less noisy towards the rear of the hotel bungalows.
Cenote was amazing to have as a backdrop, and look at every night before bed.

I’ve never given a hotel review but this place deserves one! 10/10 recommend Hotel Shibari. The food, the room, the service, the amenities, the landscaping, the access to 3 beach clubs, the beautiful cenote!!!! Honestly a dream! Even though it doesn’t have direct access to the beach, it’s partnered with 3 beach clubs for free access which gives you opportunity to see different areas of the beach. So fun, we loved every second.

Pleasure to stay at this beautiful hotel. Staff is amazing and helpful with booking additional activities. Beautiful cenote “bellybutton” with lots of little fish and a few big ones show up from time to time. The smells around the hotel are wonderful. Indirect lighting everywhere and lots of outdoor lighting make this place magical. Enjoyed the entire stay! Thank you for taking such good care of us on our 26 year anniversary!
