Just back from a superb few days in Renvyle House Hotel. From the time you lift the latch and enter the reception area you are surrounded by a warm hug.We have stayed before several times, and we're upgraded to a junior suite this time which was a real treat.Beautiful crisp white sheets ,towels so soft and bathrobe and slippers which were so handy for the hot Tub.The bathrooms and common hall stairs and landings have been refurbished and carpeted in a soft moss green carpet. The bar food and dinner menu were excellent ,and bar food served in front of the fire. There is lots to do,a play 2 nights ,a harpist and conducted country walks.AnneMarie was so attentive and keeps a subtle eye on everything to make sure your stay is super.Lots of free car parks and an overflow car park too.The Hot Tubs are the business...unbelieve in freezing temp to be submerged in 40% heat....looking out into the Atlantic....a wondrous experience.Cant wait to go back in Spring I expect.Michele and Dan Hackett Dublin.

My wife and I just returned from our 40th (probably significantly more) stay at Renvyle House Hotel. This was a 5-night event the latter part of September 2024. We had another wonderful experience at this lovely property. As previously highlighted, the hotel is a stone’s throw away from the Atlantic Ocean and is surrounded by lakes and mountains. When entering the premises, you have indeed entered the "stress free zone". The staff is led by Anne Marie Kelly (General Manager) and she is exceptional in all respects. Ann Marie is extremely competent and genuinely nice. Anne Marie leads by example and the staff has certainly bought into her vision for Renvyle House Hotel. We have been visiting Renvyle House for over 30-years (normally twice a year) and have enjoyed every visit. Over the years we did notice that some normal maintenance appeared to have been deferred out for many years. It was still a wonderful property, however needed some TLC. When Anne Marie was engaged and arrived onsite, we noticed a flurry of significant improvements to the property in a very short period of time. She has restored Renvyle House to its original splendor and glory. Hotel ownership should feel quite fortunate to have a person of Anne Marie's skills and competence leading the team. The Reception staff (led by Linda); Pub employees (led by Tommy); Marketing (Ben); and Housekeeping (led byMajella) are simply phenomenal in all respects. The food at Renvyle House is simply delicious. Menus are quite diverse, so finding something you like will not be problematic. We really enjoyed the breakfast fare. I opted for the traditional Irish fare each morning, which was awesome. My wife has tried different fares such as porridge, omelets, etc. and all were delicious. Renvyle's award winning chef has been on board for decades. The restaurant personnel were all competent, efficient, and pleasant. Renvyle House has an awesome Pub as well. Great bartenders; wonderful selection of drinks; and great food. The food is of superior quality, not your traditional Pub fare. We were assigned a beautiful suite with lovely views of the area. We have stayed in a variety of rooms over the years, and all have been superior. There is a myriad of activities onsite and around the area to participate in so one will not get bored. This includes hiking; equestrian activities; shopping; golfing; swimming; and sailing. Renvyle House Hotel is considered part of the Wild Atlantic Way as well, offering spectacular views of mountains and the ocean. The Renvyle House lobby is a great area to relax and take in the aroma of the peat fires. Newspapers are provided free of charge, as well. Renvyle House also offers free Wi-Fi. They have a wonderful library as well. I believe Renvyle House has been in existence for over 130-years; therefore, has plenty of history to share. Noted guests include Churchill; Yeats; and Lady Gregory; not bad company for sure. In conclusion, we had a wonderful tim

From the moment we arrived we felt so welcome. The first night we attended a play in the library, followed by a beautiful dinner and then listened to a wonderful harpist sitting by the fire. Customer service is the best we have had in a long time. Our three day visit was so good and we'll definitely be back. Thank you to Ann Marie, Tommy and all the team.

Five of us go there every year to meet. We had another wonderful time together. A huge thank you to Ann Marie and her Team. From the moment we arrived to when we left we were looked after so well. The food is excellent with fresh local ingredients . Plenty of choices with super fresh Fish, local Lamb,Vegetarian options and desserts to die for. Breakfast too is really good - starters are Buffet style with huge choice of healthy options. Then you get a menu at the table with loads of cooked choices. We like the time of service til 11 a.m, Renvyle is a no stress zone of peace and quiet. The bedrooms are very comfortable. The sitting areas as well with cosy corners / comfortable chairs and real fires. There is constant work always on the upkeep. This year the tennis courts / gardens looking really well/ outdoor swimming pool heated. Highlight of our stay were the 2 wonderful short plays by Sean and Teglin Curlew Theatre in the Library before Dinner. Breakfast is not rushed and served up to 11 a.m. Help is given all the time for what to do for the day or where to visit. We go to Clifden - us Ladies like shop. We always go to the absolutely best Book shop ever - in Letterfrack owned by Vincent and Mary. Another day it is to Kylemore ,

We stayed in the hotel for a few nights. The staff in the reception, rooms, bar and restaurant were fantastic. They were friendly , efficient and at all times watchful for how they could help. The meals we enjoyed in the bar and restaurant were excellent. The food was delicious and the value outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hopefully we will return in the future.

I had stayed at Renvyle for what I think was my 4th stay in August and mistakenly left an item of value behind. I've always loved Renvyle and was initially disappointed with the response to my quest for my missing item. I was subsequently contacted by Ben, the Customer Services Manager who went above and beyond the call of duty to resolve the issue. He was extremely kind and helpful and is a huge asset to this business. He managed to turn what I initially felt was a negative experience into a positive and as a consequence I look forward to visiting Renvyle again.

I stayed here for a weekend in mid August. I had stayed a couple of times previously . While eating dinner in the restaurant I noticed the guy in charge spoke to the staff in a rather unpleasant way which made me feel quite uncomfortable. The restaurant is very noisy and busy and not a pleasant environment to enjoy a meal in. A few weeks after my stay I noticed I had left behind a very expensive bottle of perfume. I knew precisely where I'd left it. I called a number of times and eventually spoke to a rather abrupt housekeeper who told me that the perfume had not been found. When I expressed surprise, she asked me if I was accusing her staff of taking the perfume in a belligerent tone. Suffice to say I will never stay in this hotel again.
