It may seem like a peculiar Headline, but having greatly enjoyed many previous stays here in Autumn & Winter (when the Days are shorter, the Rain is more frequent, the winds are constant, etc.) we were all the more delighted to now experience Renvyle House's warm hospitality in favourable sunny weather in April. For sure, no matter what time of year you come here, you will enjoy this historic Hotel's brilliant, scenic location on the Atlantic Coast, it's comfortable facilities, its superb Food, and - above all - being cossetted by the attentive staff, but good weather makes one smile all the more ! So, this time around, as the Sun shone for most of the time, we were even happier staying at one of our absolute favourite Hotels, here in Ireland or thar lear. Our renewed thanks to the incomparable General Manager, Anne Marie + to her supportive Team, most notably, on this occasion, Tommy, Majella, Linda and the newly arrived Frenchman, Martin : well done to them + their colleagues for making our latest stay so pleasant and encouraging us to come back again...

This hotel has it all! The food is amazing, the views are breathtaking, and the accommodations are superb! However, nothing compared to the hospitality, which is world class! Ann Marie went out of her way to ensure we had an amazing experience, and we did!

From the moment we stepped off the bus, our experience was amazing. Ann-Marie, the hotel manager, was absolutely lovely and ensured all of the guest in our group felt welcomed. Food was delicious, amenities were great, and the room was clean. Perhaps most amazing was the location and view. Thanks for a wonderful time!

Where to start...the experience at the Renvyle House blew away my expectations. I did not know what to expect after looking at pictures and reading reviews, but the experience was 300% better. Where to start? The ambiance and location is something that is out of a storybook or movie. It is simply breathtaking. You can't capture the views of the seas and hills/mountains adequately through text or even photos. The history and ambiance of the accommodations and grounds were superb. The accommodations were traditional yet enough of the modern comforts. The atmosphere was amazing with the live music (harp one night and Irish folk music the next) at night. And then you have the hospitality!! The management team and all their team members are some of the best I've experienced all over the world. They were kind and diligent and they truly went the extra mile to make it memorable. **I almost forgot about the food. Every course that came out of the kitchen was fine dining quality. The added benefit was that every course (while not always Irish cuisine) was cooked with 100% local Irish ingredients (all the finish was freshly caught!!). There are so many extras that I didn't get to experience, such as the pool, hot tub or lawn games... I would 100% return for a very unique Irish country experience...

From the moment I arrived I was warmly welcomed and this set the tone for my visit. The fantastic team, led by Ann Marie, run an amazing establishment. The setting is stunning and the overall service level is 5 Star! I was lucky enough to be able to extend my stay for an extra night.

This is one of the finest hospitality experiences you will ever have. The attention to detail is flawless and staff are always keen to go the eye mile to make guests welcome. The food is as always exquisite and the recent refurbishment has enhanced what was already a fabulous experience. The prices have remained good value despite increases and compare very favourably with elsewhere. The extras like a play, a free sherry, the pool and jacuzzi all add up to a wonderful escape.

This is our seventh year, beginning in 2017, that we have hosted a writers' workshop called "Love Comes in at the Eye." 10 writing participants, two co-leaders... an appreciative crew but also a needy one.. not really there on holiday, working hard, still wanting the lovely experience which is Renvyle. Ann Marie Kelly and her staff.. Sabina, Linda, Majella-- make this place feel like a family home and take such good care of us. In the early 20th century. Renvyle House hosted writers and artists and musicians and still is. Its hospitality is second to none. It is remote, but there is great food, great music in the pub, great turf fires, and the views go on forever, even in rough weather. We'll be back, and wouldn't go anyhere else.
