We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. Our room was dusty and damp and there was no hand towel or bath mat. The food was very good and Adelaide on Monday morning was super attentive and good.

Rijks Estate is always on our agenda at least once every year. The staff are always friendly and helpful and will solve any request immediately. The facilities are very modern. Pricing always affordable and the food and wine are excellent. What is very appreciative is that they will always promote other businesses and farms in the area to create a holistic experience for the guests in Tulbagh area. Thanks for a pleasant experience and lovely stay once again!

We were so lucky to re-visit this amazing Estate on one of the best Winter weekends. We loved the pool area and one could walk around the estate. The staff were so friendly and attentive and nothing was too much trouble for them. The food was also very good and the fireplace at night was great. When visiting Tulbagh this is a very good place to stay and to sample their wines. We can't wait to visit again.

We loved our stay here. The room had the most gorgeous view of the mountains. We had a good dinner and dirnks in the bar area. The room and bed was super comfy.
