Very beautiful setting in the big open spaces near Tulbagh. We stayed in a simple but comfortable cottage, quiet and peaceful with magnificent views. A wonderfully relaxing long weekend away.

We had a stunning stay at Reflections with a great view of the dam and mountains. We stayed for a long weekend with our dogs and would definitely recommend! Thanks to the team for such a wonderful stay.

The website promised to provide just what my purpose called for - deep silence, easy to maintain solitariness enveloped in the beauty of nature. I wanted a place for reflection, prayer and nature walks. Reflections provided this. A charming, clean and comfortable cottage with more than everything I needed. Splendid outlook from the deck - across the dam onto the mountains. Kirsty was attentive and responsive without being intrusive. A wonderful situation up the Tulbagh valley and a fascinating nearby village to take a break in. The silence, and the sense of being in nature however was spoilt by the constant industrial hum coming from the construction of a huge water bottling plant too close by. This interfered with my purpose but would probably not be noticed otherwise.

Lovely stay, helpfull management, beautiful area (hiking --various routes--, wine/olive tasting--various farms, white pinotage at one farm, culture/history-- Tulbagh town: old Dutch houses, small musea and Drosdy with extraordinary explanation of the area and must do things-- and ofcourse dining--Tulbagh Hotel: Asian theme diner--).

Reflections Guest Farm is simply beautiful. The cottage we stayed in was absolutely perfect for a weekend away and the farm itself has the most wonderful, tranquil scenery.

My solo retreat to Tulbagh was exactly what my soul needed. The Perderberg apartment provided everything I required for a comfortable stay, while the natural surroundings took my breath away. Nestled between mountains with views of the dam, the setting was truly magnificent. I found deep peace spending hours on their swing bench, lost in books and prayer. The sense of safety allowed me to fully unwind, whether I was making an evening fire or simply soaking in the tranquil atmosphere. This was the perfect sanctuary for quiet reflection and time with the Lord. The combination of stunning scenery, solitude, and simple comforts made this stay unforgettable. A true blessing of a getaway.

This is the second time we have returned with Maggie our Scotty. the new Managers are ver friendly and accommodating. always so peaceful and a nice getaway into the country overlooking the dam and mountain, and not to forget The "Reflection"
