Terme Tuhelj Hotel Well

After nearly 3 months we decided to go to Terme Tuhelj again. My husband advised to choose a suite in Hotel Classic (i.e. “old” part). Upon entering the suite, we were amazed: a large living room, balcony, then a spacious bedroom, and – to our great surprise – another bathroom! And two TV sets! All renovated, clean, with lots of space for clothes and various things. Also, the pool area is excellent. We had luck with weather, so I enjoyed sunbathing (only the outdoor pools are too cold for us). The only remark from my side is that the indoor swimming pool should have one more step-ladder on the opposite side (as it was before renovation). And, after many years my little wish was fulfilled: I enjoyed bathing in the old pools near the hotel. They are open on weekends, there is a small bar, good showers, enough sunbeds and parasols, and all with a retro touch. Recommended! The food was also excellent, good variety (fish every day). The staff is very friendly and polite. Although it does not concern us directly, we noticed many activities for kids – and the mascot Tuhi is soo cute. This was out 18th visit, since 2004, and we are definitely planning to come again.

The hotel is slightly above average, but it leaves a lot to be desired. Uncomfortable beds, just horrible. We stayed at the family appartment which was quite spacious, neat and clean, although we missed a drying rack for wet towels and bathing suits. Food was really average, pasta, rice, no imagination. Selection of meat was slighty better, freshly done. Soups bellow average. Some kids spaces were fun (green net, soft space), but I would recommend it for the kids from 1-8, teenagers were bored. Inside pools horrible, dirty water and our son got diarrhea and he vomited on the last day. Outside pools incredibly overcrowded, especially on Sunday. It was beyond real. Just horrible. Other days slightly better. Staff incredibly polite, fun and friendly. Overall, neat and nice hotel, needs a lot of improvement.

392 / 5.000 Rezultati prijevoda Rezultat prijevoda An excellent vacation in Terme Tuhelj, the rooms are small but clean and tidy, every day the staff cleans the rooms and changes the towels, when you arrive you get your own towels for the pools and bath robes in which you can walk all day, we had full board so we could go to everything without problems, the saunas are excellent and the staff are friendly, be sure to treat yourself to a full body massage, the food is excellent and tasty and there is plenty of it.

The rooms in no way correspond to a 4* hotel. I am afraid that they are putting Slevomat customers in another wing, which should be marked with a maximum of 3*. The room is extremely small for a family of 4, that could be managed, but there was no balcony and only very small bathroom, so no other way to hang wet bathing suits and towels. After 3 days, we didn't even have a single swimsuit dry. The food was disastrous, every lunch and dinner still the same 4 types of pasta and risotto, which they only rotated between the adults' and children's buffets. The mussels were old and so were some types of ham. When I asked at the reception for an extra bottle of water, saying that I would of course pay for it, I was sent to a gas station or a bar. In the bar, one Mohito cost €7 (the usual tax in tourist facilities), but there was not even a teaspoon of sugar in it and literally 2 mint leaves. From Friday to Sunday, the pools are unusable, the capacity was definitely exceeded many times over. What I appreciated is the equipment prepared for children, especially the lobby green soft zone and the net/tunnel system down the stairs. It is very sad, it could have been a wonderful holiday, the kids were very happy there, but we, parents suffered.

Very unfriendly people in the restaurant and also in spa and sauna. I don’t feel welcome here. It’s like : thank you for you money, now go and leave us alone. It’s a very crowded place with à lot of noice. We will never come back here and I don’t recommend it to anyone. Food in the restaurant is cold and almost every day the same. Not à lot of choice for kids. Coffee tastes bad, machines are not refilled on a regular base. Red wine is ice cold. Employees eet together with the tourists from the same buffet and on the same tables at the same time. They keep the best food for themselves.

Hotel Well is situated in Tuhelj,a small village in Krapinsko-zagorska county. It has the outdoor and indoor swimming pool which is opened only during summer while the indoor whole year. You can also visit spa centre or sauna. Hotel rooms are very clean and the food is also great as well.
