A retreat for adults and tweens (8 and up), this home boasts hardwood and stone flooring throughout. Tile showers, granite counter tops, real wood cabinets, floor to ceiling glass facing the slopes and other fine finishes. With all of the hard surfaces and glass barriers, this home is unfortunately not young child friendly. Large refrigerator, wine rack, and kitchen ready for hosting with stainless steal appliances and all the cooking utensils / pots / pans / bowls / etc. you could need. Each room is outfitted with quality soft linens and towels, extra blankets and a window to watch it snow. For our Spring / Summer / Autumn guests, we are walking distance to Timberline Mountain and a short drive to Canaan Valley Resort so you can easily tap into their events schedule. Our firepit area is perfect for your evening gatherings. You are able to hike into the Dolly Sods, play tennis, fish, golf, and enjoy the outdoors without ever driving more than 3 minutes. You are a short walk away from The Owl Market which boasts wonderful pastries and coffee as well as a beer and wine selection and ice cream service. A short scenic drive and you can enjoy the little towns of Davis and Thomas, as well as Black Water Falls. For our Winter guests, this home is located in the base area of Timberline Mountain, privately tucked away but just on the edge of the parking lot. 4WD will not be necessary as you will not need to ascend steep local roads to access the driveway. This is a personal home, owned and loved by a couple that works at Timberline Mountain.
