Pleasant place for a holiday.
Staff are nice. the beach is okay
Pool is good. I loved the activities they had.
And the food is nice too.

We booked the ocean wing junior suite for a 4D3N stay. The service staff was very helpful and accommodative to our request to change room so that we can stay adjacent to one another. Overall stay was fantastic, especially the food which was delicious and satisfied our palate. There are many activities which you can book with a fee. The spa was located at the scenic golf club and it was great. We also took up a day tour which included a river cruise and firefly viewing. It was a beautiful sight and good experience (minus the mosquitoes!). The resort is not exactly near any amenities but it offers complimentary shutter bus service to Suria Sabah and Imago Shopping Mall three times daily. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a holiday with some exclusivity.

Staff was wonderful, but the experience was kind of let down by the aged furniture and facilities that were in need of major refurbishments.
Location might be a tad inaccessible for those without a car, but the private beach was more than worth it.

The staffs were friendly, the room was clean. Only we got the superior room instead deluxe room. We booked deluxe room with bathtub. But nevermind, the room was given near to the lift, easy to go up and down with kids. The food also delicious and variaty. Only the toast finished and the staff didnt fill up. We are not informed by the staff any complimentary. The grass long in field area.
All ok, we will recommend this resort to everybody. Excellent facilities and sceneries. Overall is excellent.

Our stay at Shangri-La Rasa Ria Resort in KK was generally pleasant, with beautiful surroundings and comfortable rooms. However, we had a negative experience at The Eighth restaurant due to unclear dress code policies and no prior communication from the restaurant staff before entering, one of our members were asked to leave the restaurant to change according to the dress code after we have sat down in the restaurant and ready to make order. While the resort has much to offer, clearer communication on dress codes would enhance the overall experience.

The place was perfect. check in and out was very swift! We had our dinner there too. Such a perfect staycation for my small family. Would definitely go again. 100% recommended.

The property is pretty dated having been around for so many years. We booked a room at the garden wing. Did not like the design of the bathroom without a seperate shower area from the bath tub.
Even though there are a wide range of activities around, everything is chargeable and very pricey. We tried to book the tennis court, they only provided rackets but was told to purchase our own balls for RM56 per tube.
Breakfast was alright. The only nice part about the property is the stunning sunset view and fine sandy beach.

Check in is super slow when you just arrived and excited to put your feet up and chill. The rest of the service including room service is excellent. Hotel room is super spacious and beds were super comfy! I enjoyed my stay despite the first impression on the super slow check in.

Overall good experience, clean, nice view and close to nature with the staff providing excellent service. However, just one of the staff at Tepi Laut Restaurant treated us with very poor service. We had to wait 15 minutes just to be seated although restaurant wasn’t full.

As a long-distance couple that can only meet with one another once every one to two months, choosing where to celebrate my girlfriend's birthday was even more important for me, and I can say with full confidence that I did not choose wrong in staying at Shangri-la Rasa Ria. I contacted them prior to my visit about possibly helping me out with planning a surprise and celebrating the birthday, and the staff were all extremely supportive and cooperative in planning out the details. On the day of the surprise, we originally had planned to have them organized at one of the outdoor bars overlooking the sunset, but because of heavy rain, the staff all helped me reorganize them at the lobby bar, with the band singing the Happy Birthday Song together with the staffs and the other hotel guests joining in. The overall experience was also absolutely wonderful, and we enjoyed the 4 nights we stayed there. Perhaps if there is one thing to keep in mind, it would be its location, as it is situated about an hour's drive from the airport and the city center (if not more depending on the traffic).
