The staff were really nice at reception and for dinner. Food was really nice including breakfast which is served in a lovely room. Room and bed very clean and comfortable. Hotel was reasonably priced . I would recommend and will be back again .

We went on a family holiday with our 4 month old. The hotel was very clean, the food was delicious but it was the staff that made our stay as wonderful as it was. They were all exceptional. Special mention of thanks to Adrian, Karen and Maria who made our first trip away special with our baby.. super friendly.

We have stayed here before, we can only say it gets better and better ove time, flablious bar area spacious, great bar menu good value for money, spacious and comfortable room lovely decor, good size bathroom with a bath very good pressure shower, amazing breakfast so much choice, welcoming foyer, above all wonderful staff , friendly, assertive, service with a smile ... sure will return ........

Ordered 5 hot chocolates this evening for a family treat. One had coffee in it and my 7 year old daughter didn't say it tasted funny until the cream was gone and so was half the drink. Management tried to claim there was no coffee in it until they finally tasted it. Won't be back.

We are a large bus group that eat twice in the hotel, after a long journey the staff were waiting to greet us, show us to our function room, they were so friendly and accomadating. The food was exceptional, great flavours and piping hot. Great service, great food. Will definitely call again.

Very poor. My family and I live nearby and have supported the hotel over the years since opening. In the last few years the food quality has went downhill and is nearly inedible. Have had multiple occasions where have received burnt or stale food. Friends have experienced the same. The staff hired recently are extremely unfriendly and don’t seem to care. Avoid at all costs

We stayed at the Ard Ri as we were attending an after wedding family gathering in the town. Everything was absolutely fine, from check in to check out, yes the room could have benefited from a refresh but it was clean and functionable, the bed was very comfortable and the room had everything you needed. We ate in the on site bar restaurant both days, the carvery and my tagliatelle was great, my brother raved about the chowder and his huge burger, the fish and chips were a little disappointing but still not significant to complain. Breakfasts were very good with a good selection to choose from. Nice size lounge with an open fire roaring away, one of our party became too comfortable and dozed off! All of the staff we encountered were top rate, attentive polite and friendly. If we were back in Tuam would book without hesitation.
