"A family of four enjoyed the twin room very comfortably. There was no moisture, it was clean, and hot water was very easy to use. However, it was unfortunate that I had to climb a little hill to use the hotel, but overall it was a satisfactory trip.
PS:Man Utd came out to chase the team and was surprised by Seol Geon-neungjwi."
"View from the Hotel's Balcony is awesome, we upgraded our room to get a Balcony view room & it came with such a reasonable price.
The staff is so humble, friendly & helpful.
Best part of the Hotel is Mono rail station to Mount Fansipan is just adjacent to this Hotel. Gr8 Experience there, probably the Best Hotel in Sapa.
Definitely Next time I will opt for the same Hotel.
Only thing is, they should add some options in their breakfast menu for Vegetarians.
Worth a Stay 👍"
"We were a group of friends, I had booked the hotel a month before traveling to Vietnam but when we arrived at the hotel they couldn’t find our reservation and let us wait for almost an hour.
It was raining the night we were there and there was a flood in our bedroom in the morning which I guess it leaks from the balcony, the staff offered us another room but we almost check out anyway cuz it already 10.00 am so we only used that room for showered.
The scenery should be very beautiful if you are lucky enough that there will be not too much fog and rain on the day you stay."

"My favorite hotel throughout my Vietnam trip. We got the hotel room with a view and it was amazing to wake up to.
The breakfast provided is pretty decent as well, and in terms of walkability, the location is not very Sapa center but we enjoyed the walk since the weather was cool."
"A Memorable Stay at Pao’s Sapa
I recently stayed at Pao’s Sapa, and it exceeded all my expectations. The rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, offering every amenity one could need. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. The view from the hotel was absolutely breathtaking! The location is perfect, with easy access to Sapa Center, and the complimentary shuttle service made getting around so convenient.
I can’t recommend Pao’s Sapa enough for anyone looking for comfort and luxury. A special thanks to Mayu for her exceptional assistance and care during our stay. Her dedication and professionalism truly stood out. I wish to return and see her in a higher position—she absolutely deserves it!"
"Overall hotel was wonderful, i arrived at 6:00am in the morning by the way there are no room available at that time Front desk was provided us a shower room and resting area at Front desk with very nice hospitality.
At 10:00 am after energy charge we went to Fancipan and came back around 16:00 the was ready when i checked in to the room the view was stunning us(room type: mountain view) overall was perfect.
BTW, we don’t want to go out then we choose the hotel restaurant for the our dinner we order food for six people as i know about the service sequences staff repeat our order to make sure that it correct; for sure we listen it carefully due to difficult of inter-language - all the food repeat correctly. Unfortunately, one of our dish was mistake from Carbonara to bolognese sauce which we know all of us don’t pork then we call staff they came with attitude that it’s our mistake but she take it for change. Suddenly i heard the sound of fighting of waiter and kitchen that one of word i heard very clearly is “i already repeat it” fifteen mins later carbonara was served and we got educate by staff that we should informed her What we don’t eat. Poor us? After five mins she came back and say Sorry to us(First of apologies) 🥺 so we would fine if she apologize and do not make that behavior. I understand some if order was mistake you need to talked with chef but for both of service and kitchen was very disappointed for us."
"location
- About 4-5 minutes walk from Sapa Station
- About 2-3 minutes away from Sapa Cathedral
- Come out of the entrance and go up the stairs on the right to enter Ham Rong Mountain.
- Turn left at the entrance and go down the stairs to Sapa Station or Cat Cat Village.
(ATMs that accept Travel Wallet, Kong Cafe, and supermarkets are also located here)
- It is about a 10-minute walk to Sapa Lake.
- Overall, it is in a good location in Sapa in terms of travel.
(Good location for going anywhere, including Fansipan, Cat Cat Village, and the cathedral)
facility
- There is a terrace so the view is nice.
- The shower room is a bit narrow, the water pressure is good, but the water drains a little poorly.
- It is very nice to have a bidet installed.
- The amenities are good and the dryer has strong wind and the installation location is good.
- There is no inconvenience in charging as there is a power *****.
- It's pretty clean and I didn't particularly see any bugs.
- Air conditioning and heating were installed and operated without problem.
service
- Breakfast seems to have about 12 to 15 menus (buffet style), and about 10 menus can be ordered.
- Breakfast is quite delicious, and I usually eat a lot of omelettes, but they are delicious.
- The staff speaks good English and is very friendly.
Although it is a bit pricey, traveling/touring in Sapa does not take a lot of time, so it is recommended to choose a decent hotel itself.
Overall, it wasn't a luxury hotel, but it was an accommodation that didn't have any inconveniences.
In particular, the location was very convenient because you could walk to everything around this area unless you were going for ethnic trekking.
(Generally, most restaurants frequented by Koreans are located around here)"
"The staff at this hotel are doing everything in their power to make your stay enjoyable. They rent out scooters at a good price and I used this service to get to a nearby village. For breakfast you either have a buffet or a la carte depending on how many people stay. If there aren't too many guests then a la carte is the only option. Regarding the room, the bed is comfy and internet signal is strong enough to stream Netflix etc. I would recommend this place."
"It has a swimming pool and fitness and arrived a little late, and the front desk service was good. Breakfast was also a buffet. I went to check out early and went to check my luggage late after checking out as a tour schedule. The rooms were clean and clean."
"Huge Thanks to the receptionist Kelvin and room boy top notch service with extra miles handling our luggage. please give both of them a big bonus this year's performance review. 7 ⭐
For the management attention, the hotel room allocated for us at building 2 was damp not fresh. 3 ⭐ only!"

Excellent
CChicseeMy stay with Bamboo Sapa was nothing short of excellent from the time we checked in, which was about 5am to the time we checked out. All hotel staff were wonderful. We booked a tour that started at 8am and had to forgo breakfast for a little rest before. Thought I’d just grab a piece of bread and on the way in the cafe, a staff approached me to ask my room no. and sit me down but I explained that we had to rush off for a tour and wanted to just grab and go. And she insisted we packed some food. Got us a takeaway box and even packed us some orange juice to go! I knew immediately she was Julie from the many raving reviews I read about her, I recognized her immediately even though we have never met! Her reputation precedes her and I am amazed at how helpful and proactive she was. She helped with lending us an adaptor and a phone cable, recommended good restaurants and a driver to bring us around. A gem of an employee she is!
LLee TinWe booked the Deluxe Room With Mountain View And Balcony n was given room G102 located one floor below reception. You can see the train moving n has an overall view of the sapa retreat hotel if i remember correctly. Check out the lovely pictures captured during sunrise. Lovely hues can be see in clear skies.
Our stay was on 12-13 Jan n unfortunately the monorail n fansipan was closed for maintenance. But weather was sunny n clear. And we actually caught a glimpse of the train for seconds when they were testing it!
It was very cold n the hotel has got Airconditioner that works both ways but the heating function wasn’t strong enough. We asked for extra heating n they brought us a standing heater that helps to only keep one person warm. So we just put on warm clothes n slept with blankets on. I was prepared as I read the reviews.
Reception counter staff were all helpful n friendly. Mostly smiling ☺️ n good to see.
The ladies in the restaurant are less smiley but they still try to help with your needs.
Hotel has water heater so u could take your hot shower but the bathroom was very airy n big. So you’ll feel cold very soon.
Bed n bedding was good n we caught the beautiful sunrise hues.
We ate both lunch and breakfast from their restaurant mam. Both are yummy. Breakfast was soo goood and u choose from a menu what u like. They will prepare it from their kitchen upon your order.
The hotel values their guests and have a cute postcard from sapa yen hotel with a personal touch on the letter. Was a great stay and would highly recommend this to all.
GGuest UserOur stay was EPIC!!! the room was the best. It has balcony facing the Sapa centre. The service was good. The staffs was the best most especially Selena. she helped us a lot from booking our alpine coaster to finding us a driver going anywhere. They always give us tea in the lobby. The food was superb as well. Our breakfast didn’t disappoint us. All taste well. this hotel made our stay in sapa epic. and did I say the location was the best with near restaurants, massage and retail shops. I would recommend this hotel to my friends.

Outstanding
MMike•CheongA Magical Stay at Hotel de la Coupole Sapa - MGallery Collection
I had the pleasure of staying at Hotel de la Coupole Sapa - MGallery Collection, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the hotel’s stunning architecture, which beautifully blends French colonial elegance with the rich cultural heritage of Sapa.
The rooms were impeccably designed, offering luxurious comfort with breathtaking views of the mountains. Every detail, from the vintage-inspired decor to the plush bedding, reflected the hotel’s commitment to excellence.
The service was outstanding—staff members were incredibly warm, attentive, and always ready to go the extra mile to ensure a pleasant stay. Dining at Chic Restaurant was another highlight, with an exquisite selection of French and Vietnamese cuisine that delighted my taste buds. The indoor heated pool and spa provided the perfect retreat after exploring the stunning landscapes of Sapa.
Overall, Hotel de la Coupole exceeded my expectations in every way. Whether you’re looking for a romantic getaway, a relaxing retreat, or a luxurious escape in the mountains, this hotel is the perfect choice.
GGuest UserClean and spacious, with a common lobby and kitchen. Very accommodating owner. Although we didnt see her/him, he/she is very responsive to chats. Plus the place is safe with cctvs and locks and very high-tech. We were also allowed to check in early but we arrived at around 2pm already, so it was fine. Also, they let us leave our stuff in the common area when we checked out because sleeper bus to hanoi is at 10pm. Highly recommended place. ❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜🤎🖤🩶🤍
VViolet YoongBeautiful hotel - service leaves room for improvement
We arrived early and let the hotel know about 10 days prior that we will be arriving at 4am.
I called the front desk who asked me to walk about 50m but wasn’t clear about the direction. After 30 mins he sent a buggy to pick us up.
A common theme is that some staff don’t communicate if they don’t know something or are unable to help. They just nod and it’s really difficult to discern whether they’re going to do anything or not. Just let me know you don’t know or can’t help - even in Vietnamese! At least I can translate it myself.
After 3 hours of waiting in the freezing lobby, Lala explained the process and gave us clarity on next steps. She was kind enough to upgrade as it was my birthday and it was slow season, which I appreciated.
Lala is a gem - she came by and everything was really smooth after that. She was cheerful and clear in her communication. She gave useful recommendations and she was clear in what she could and could not do. She was really great and we appreciated her help greatly.
Overall a good, clean hotel - a bit far from the town but that’s a good thing.
Facilities are good and plenty - you probably don’t even need to go to the town area.
Most of the staff except for a handful are quite difficult to interact with due to their refusal to give bad news or say they don’t know something.
EEunice MarginelOur stay was no more than pleasant. The hotel’s best asset is their amazing staff. We arrived around 6am and we are able to get an early checked in and not only that, we’ve got our room upgraded for a nice view, just because.
Also, shout out to their best staff, Ruby. She has an amazing smile and she keeps us entertained during breakfast. (See picture to see Ruby)
Highly recommended and thank you! We loved our stay! We’ll comeback soon 😊

Ppaulrob200A really warm and friendly staff at this hotel. Located in close proximity to Sapa Square, SunWorld Plaza, CatCat Village, Stone Church, Ham Rong Park, Sapa Lake and Moang Hua there are plenty of restaurants in the area too. The views are spectacular of the valleys and mountains from the mountain view rooms. There was a decent variety for breakfast with again some excellent views! It was cold in January but fortunately the AC also offers heating in nice sized rooms. Thanks for a great stay!
EEvelynnttCleanness is good. The view is straightly to sunplaza station. The staffs are super kindly and helpful. One bonus mark for breakfast, super supprise about its variable. Will comeback next time.

AAnonymous UserThis property is a family-run hotel, so guests should not expect the level of service typically found at chain hotels with dedicated departments.
Location is a major advantage — the hotel is situated in the center of Sapa, within walking distance to SunWorld Fansipan Legend, making it convenient for sightseeing.
Accommodation and Facilities: The facilities are basic and reflect the nature of a budget or mid-range guesthouse. Rooms are equipped with physical keys, and electricity is activated via a plastic key insert. Soundproofing is minimal, and room construction is modest, with noticeable gaps above doors and large interior windows that may affect privacy.
The hotel lacks an intercom system and, assistance is provided by family members. Guests need to use their personal phones to contact the owners if support is needed.
Dining: The breakfast offering is limited and home-cooked, as the hotel does not employ a professional chef. This may not meet the expectations of travelers looking for a more standardized hotel dining experience.
Maintenance and Condition: Furniture and room amenities appear dated, with some fixtures squeaky or partially functional. While basic repairs are made, the overall maintenance standard could be improved to meet modern hospitality expectations.
Overall: While the price is competitive for the location, guests should be aware that the experience is closer to a guesthouse or budget homestay than a professionally operated hotel.
